Meghan McCain told her co-hosts Thursday on ABC’s “The View” that the Republican Party is losing suburban voters over Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) and “Trumpism.” Discussing House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) saying Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) apologized in private, McCain said, “If you want to apologize for all the garbage and bile that you have said and then put our party through at the same time, do it publicly. Kevin McCarthy, you let Liz Cheney vacillate until the 11th hour, and then at the 11th hour said, ‘Oh, okay. We should rally behind her.’ He had plenty...

If President Trump had been colluding with Russia, the first thing he would have done would have been to cancel the Keystone XL pipeline and otherwise prevent our achieving energy independence. Russia was once described as being a gas station masquerading as a country. Its only commodities of value are weapons and oil. Building Keystone XL and unleashing fracking was Trump’s way of screwing with Putin’s ambitions, ot rewarding them. We would have to wait for Joe Biden to collude with Russia on energy by banning Keystone XL and declaring war on fracking. As Helen Raleigh, writing in The Federalist,...

During a decade-long hospitalist career at Stanford, I experienced our dysfunctional health care system firsthand. As a way to address my own “burnout” and find a voice, I started producing videos and live shows under the pseudonym “ZDoggMD” that have since gone epidemically viral." Video is 12 minutes long.

SNIP "Everything" the Biden administration does when it comes to foreign policy will be examined as to whether it makes life "better, safer and easier for working families," National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan told reporters in a briefing to preview the President's remarks. SNIP Biden also announced his intention to increase the number of refugees admitted into the United States after years of historical lows under the Trump administration, and fulfill a campaign promise in doing so, two sources familiar with the plans told CNN. The Trump administration set a refugee cap of 15,000 for this fiscal year, the lowest...

WASHINGTON, DC- Democrats are trying to sneak through an amnesty proposal for illegal aliens into the coronavirus relief package, according to Breitbart News. Around 100 House Democrats are urging Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) to include amnesty for certain subgroups of illegals in the aid package. The Democrats led by the Congressional Hispanic Caucus are pushing for amnesty for at least five million illegal aliens who consider themselves [emphasis added] “essential workers” and who are beneficiaries of Temporary Protected Status (TPS) and Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) programs. Article Dig In Sen. Mitt Romney on Thursday proposed providing monthly payments to families with children to help them weather the COVID-19 pandemic. "This proposal offers a path toward greater security for America’s families by consolidating the many complicated programs to create a monthly cash benefit for them, without adding to the deficit,” Romney said in a press release. The Utah Republican said the proposal would streamline existing family policies to create one universal child benefit, titled the Family Security Act. Under the proposal, the existing child tax credit would be replaced with monthly payments of $350 for children ages...

The ABC, CBS and NBC evening newscasts have now ignored news that makes former President Donald Trump’s economic policies look good even after he’s out of office. Fox Business reported that “The US economy will bounce back to its pre-pandemic size by the middle of the year without any emergency stimulus, the US Congressional Budget Office [CBO] projected Monday [February 1].” The CBO report specifically stated that if “current laws governing federal taxes and spending (as of January 12) generally remain in place and that no significant additional emergency funding or aid is provided,” the economy will continue to strengthen...

The New York Times published an essay on Tuesday detailing a range of recommendations for the Biden administration to adopt to fix the “reality crisis” and “de-radicalize” citizens, including setting up a “reality czar” and “truth commission.” The essay, penned by Times technology columnist Kevin Roose, accuses “millions of Americans” of embracing “hoaxes, lies and collective delusions” before questioning how to unite a country where these millions “have chosen to create their own version of reality.” “I worry that unless the Biden administration treats conspiracy theories and disinformation as the urgent threats they are, our parallel universes will only drift...

Pennsylvania’s top COVID-19 vaccination official on Thursday said the state has begun examining how quickly providers are getting doses into peoples’ arms and will begin to favor those that do better. “We’re narrowing in on a strategy that will allocate this vaccine to providers that really rewards those that can do it efficiently, do it effectively, meaning getting that second dose in there, and then report back to us as quickly as possible so we can get an understanding of the data,” said Alison Beam, Pennsylvania’s acting secretary of health. Beam testified before a Republican-led state Senate committee on Thursday,...

Venezuelan dictator Nicolás Maduro accused Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg of “abusive and dictatorial” behavior after Facebook censored Maduro’s promotion of an unproven coronavirus treatment known as Carvativir, an antiviral drug which Maduro refers to as “miracle drops.” Facebook on January 31 prevented Maduro’s government from uploading videos in which Maduro discusses Carvativir’s alleged ability to treat symptoms of the Chinese coronavirus. No studies have found the “miracle drops” have any significant impact on fighting the Chinese coronavirus and Carvativir is not in use in treating the pathogen anywhere else in the world. “Who is in charge in Venezuela, the owner...

New York’s Democrat Gov. Andrew Cuomo is the poster child for the most macabre chutzpah we have ever seen. He mismanaged his state’s Wuhan China virus pandemic to the point of herding COVID-19 patients into nursing homes where even he admits it spread like a wildfire through dry grass. Yet he blames everyone but himself for his state’s carnage, has written a book bizarrely claiming to be his state’s savior, and he’s even won an Emmy for his daily bloviating press conferences. It should have been for best performance in a horror show. Now we know the carnage and death...

Democratic New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo announced Friday that indoor dining can resume in New York City on Valentine’s Day, despite nearly every coronavirus metric being worse than it was when he banned indoor dining in the first place. When Cuomo announced Dec. 11 that indoor dining would be banned in New York City, the 7-day average of coronavirus cases per 100,000 people in the city was 40.2, according to data from the New York Times. When he announced Jan. 29 that indoor dining could resume, that number was 66.1 – 64% higher than the average per-capita case counts in...

In November, as fall was fading, Matt Binnicker began to hunker down for a hard winter. The coronavirus had already infected an estimated 13 million people nationwide, and his team at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, was now peering over the precipice of flu season, when every coughing, feverish patient would need not one diagnostic test, but two. Determined to stay one step ahead, Binnicker’s lab had worked furiously to develop its own influenza test in order to amp up capacity. On December 1, the team began screening all patients with respiratory symptoms for both viruses. In the two...
