An Albany man has been charged after threatening a campaign worker on Thursday around 1 p.m., according to the Albany Police Department (APD). Police said a campaign worker walked up to the home of Derek Dubose, 49, and left a campaign flyer. At some point, Dubose walked out of his home, saw the worker, yelled a racial slur, then threatened him, according to APD. When officers arrived, Dubose was arrested and taken to the Law Enforcement Center to be questioned by investigators.
