November 23, 2020 Making sense of the news about Sidney Powell By Andrea Widburg You probably already know that Trump's legal team announced that Sidney Powell is not a team member. The brief statement leaves unanswered the most important question: "Why?" Absent solid information, speculation leads us either to "This is the beginning of the end" or "This is all part of the plan" — and I'm leaning to the latter. Events happened with head-spinning speed. On Thursday, Trump's legal team held a press conference. Rudy Giuliani talked about traditional voter fraud (cemetery voters, faked ballots, etc.); Sidney Powell talked...

Good Morning And WELCOME, Happy Thanksgiving Day Week!

President Trump took to social media and slammed Mitt Romney as a “RINO” after the Utah Senator called his attempts to contest the election “undemocratic.” RINO = Republican in Name Only. “RINO Mitt Romney should read this,” he wrote. “I’m sure, however, that he feels he got slaughter(ed) by Obama fair and square.” Not content with settling on the RINO remarks, President Trump shared another insult for Romney on Twitter. He retweeted a message which read, “Romney has lost his mind since 2016.”

Thanksgiving is coming up soon. All over the nation, Americans are getting ready to thank God (hopefully) for the many blessings they have been giving. Despite being wracked by a pandemic and political divisiveness, not to mention the utter ridiculousness and blatant fraud of this election, we still live in the most prosperous nation on Earth. That’s worth celebrating and is why I think Americans of every background and stripe should celebrate Thanksgiving despite Covid. Of course, not everyone feels the same way. Many of your governors, who view you as a peon and your rights as obstacles to their...

WASHINGTON, Thursday, Nov. 22. That a differrnce of opinion exists among the members of the President's Cabinet touching the right of a State peaceably to secede, is known by every well-informed person here; but that this difference of opinion has led to any unpleasant difficulty in Cabinet meeting, is wholly untrue. Nor are the Cabinet divided as stated in the Herald's dispatches. Gov. FLOYD is erroneously represented as defending the right of and favorable to secession, while Gen. CASS is very open in his opposi on to it; yet the latter does not believe the Union can be kept together...

Today’s Scripture: Psalm 16:11 “In your presence there is fullness of joy; at your right hand are pleasures forevermore.” The period between our death and the still-future resurrection of our bodies is usually called the intermediate state. The Bible actually tells us little about this period, but what it does say is very encouraging. In 2 Corinthians 5:8 Paul said that he "would prefer to be away from the body and at home with the Lord" (NIV), and in Philippians 1:23 he said, "My desire is to depart and be with Christ, for that is far better." Taking Paul’s statements...

Inevitably, college music departments have succumbed to pressure to promote “social justice” and fight racism. It’s hard to see much injustice or racism in music, but that doesn’t matter to activists intent on showing that they’re in the vanguard of America’s transformation. Consider, for example, the announcement back in September by the music department at Meredith College in Raleigh, NC that it was taking steps to combat “systemic racism.” We learn that the music department, eager to participate in the college’s new anti-racism initiative, hired a consultant, Lorna Hernandez Jarvis. She met with minority students and alumnae so that they...

What the hell is going on in America!? New Jersey’s largest city, Newark has set up Police checkpoints on the roads coming into the city demanding people show proof of resident and proof they are doing an “essential activity.” Mayor Ras Baraka is locking his city down like no other in the country. “I know you want to have fun, but now is not the time for fun. We have to stay focused, we have to do what’s right,” said Mayor Baraka. “We want people to shelter in place. We want to be able to do that for 10 days,...

According to the media, Trump and his deplorables are doing a great disservice to the nation by demanding assurances about the integrity of the 2020 presidential election. After all, Joe Biden has been all but inaugurated by news personalities and the Democratic Party, and the social media censors have assured us that there's no evidence of any wrongdoing, so it's obviously just a waste of time and energy to mull the outlandish possibility that Americans are the victims of what Biden described (either carelessly or carefully) as the "most extensive and inclusive voter fraud organization in the history of American...

He's the guy we'd all like to sit down with and have a dbl-cheeseburger and a cold one, while talking about the state of America, and the crazies who are pulling the strings, behind-the-scenes. Get a fresh refill of your favorite...

Pray For the Peace of JerusalemLambs, Sheep, and Shepherds.Leviticus 110 “‘If the offering is a burnt offering from the flock, from either the sheep or the goats, you are to offer a male without defect. 11 You are to slaughter it at the north side of the altar before the Lord, and Aaron’s sons the priests shall splash its blood against the sides of the altar. 12 You are to cut it into pieces, and the priest shall arrange them, including the head and the fat, on the wood that is burning on the altar. 13 You are to wash...

Way too many are caught in a media-induced despondency, knowing the presidential election was stolen, in the dark of night, vote counting suddenly stopped, vote counts on the television switched from Trump to Biden – yet each thinks he or she is the only one who saw it. Why do I feel so alone? Nobody can hide industrial scale fraud, of any sort, for long: Medicaid fraud, stock manipulation, fake invoices. The bigger the fraud, the harder it is to hide and thus the greater probability it is all going to come out. The words "…this would be the crime...

Ballot Stuffing. Plain and simple. On a massive scale. It's how democrats gain, then maintain power. But we got one past their gauntlet! And they've been screaming about it for four straight years. By hook or by crook he was going to be removed from office. But there's always another election coming, and they are desperately seeking to maintain control over their means to power.

The biggest banks in the U.S. will give Black-owned businesses advantageous terms on a crucial type of financing that companies use to manage their cash flow, a novel effort to narrow the wealth gap between white and non-white communities. Banks made multibillion-dollar commitments to expand lending to Black consumers and businesses after the wave of protests throughout the U.S sparked by the killing of George Floyd. The targeted lending is meant to correct decades of discrimination in lending whereby banks denied loans to Black borrowers or steered them toward products with high interest rates and other terms many couldn’t afford....

China has resorted to its heavy, top-down approach each time new cases of local transmission are found — shutting down schools and hospitals, locking down residential communities and entire neighborhoods, and testing millions. Tianjin authorities shut down a kindergarten and moved all the teachers, family and students to a centralized quarantine space. They also sealed the residential compound where the five cases were found. A worker for UPS at Pudong airport said one of those who tested positive earlier in the month had visited her office. Since then, her company has asked employees to quarantine themselves in the office and...

Montana is on track to become the 17th state to restore Constitutional Carry. It will probably do so in 2021. Constitutional Carry means most people can carry, concealed or openly, most of the time in most public places, without any special governmental permission or permit. It was the state of affairs in the young United States when the Bill of Rights was ratified in 1791. In 2020, Republican Greg Gianforte won the race for Governor in Montana. Greg is the first Montanan Republican governor since 2005.Greg won with 54.4% of the vote to his Democrat challenger's 41.6%.The former governor, Democrat...

"God damn America!"—nuanced, yeah: like a punch in the nose! When it comes to attempting to explain away the unexplainable, nothing's more hackneyed than claiming the offensive statement was "taken out of context." To be sure, Jason Johnson trotted out that cliché while guest-hosting MSNBC's AM Joy Sunday morning in excusing Rev. Jeremiah Wright's infamous screaming "not God Bless America! God Damn America!" But give Eddie Glaude credit. The Princeton prof and frequent MSNBC guest came up with a somewhat more original excuse: critics of Wright's damnation of America fail to understand the reverend's "theological nuance." Right. There's "nuance" in...
