....Key figures — Democrat advantage of 88,000 in Clark County would roughly match the advantage Clinton had in 2016. As of yesterday, the Clark County advantage stood at 87,500, and Ralston is estimating that when Monday’s mailed-in ballots are counted (no more early in-person voting), the Clark County lead could exceed 90,000. BUT, without much fanfare, Ralston noted in his last short update this morning that the Democrat statewide lead is only 47,000. That means in early voting and mail-in voting in the rural counties, Trump is already leading Biden by 43,000 votes, only 12,000 behind his total advantage over...

Detroit gun shop owner Bill Kucyk told Sky News that his store was being inundated by people who don’t really know how to purchase or handle weapons but are desperate to acquire them. “They don’t even know the process,” said Kucyk. “They just want to buy guns – and I’m getting about a hundred calls a day about it,” he added. Kucyk said he was struggling to keep up with demand as people clamor to stock up on guns before what many fear could be weeks of intense rioting should the election result be contested. “Normally I’d have about a...

Pennsylvania’s Attorney General Josh Shapiro, a Democrat, found himself in hot water on social media after claiming that President Trump has lost the ability to win the battleground state, just over 24 hours before the polls close on Election Day.

Kamala Harris: “Joe understands that when they passed that tax bill benefiting the top 1% and the biggest corporations of America, causing us to deal with a $2 trillion deficit, that that wasn’t about working people. And if we get done what we need to get done, Pennsylvania, in the next 24 hours, Joe and I are about to get rid of that tax bill.”

All over America, there is a great outpouring of prayer for the nation and for the elections. Believers are gathering together online and in corporate settings, fasting and praying for God's intervention. "We need you, God," they cry out with one voice. "Have mercy on our land! Don't abandon us, Lord! Help, Father!" Even in other countries, believers are fasting and praying for America right now. We stand at a pivotal time in our history, and as America goes, much of the world goes. But the worst thing we could do is stop praying on November 4 (if, in fact,...

The 1960 World Series is the archetype: the Yankees won games by scores of 10–0, 12–0 and 16–3, but the Pirates won four close games. Bill Mazeroski hit a home run in the bottom of the 9th inning of game 7 to clinch the World Series, and the Pirates won it all despite being outscored by 28 runs (55–27) in seven games. That’s the most extreme - and by far the most famous - case. But it is not particularly rare for the team that scores fewer net runs to end up winning the World Series - in fact, it...

Voter rolls have been a major point of contention between those who want election integrity, and those who don’t. I spent some time doing voter lookups for family and friends. My brother, who moved to Ohio from Texas over a year ago, is still a registered voter on the voter rolls here in Texas. I let him know, and he informed me that he and his wife have definitely registered to vote in Ohio. Is there some responsibility for voters to AFFIRMATIVELY notify election offices that you are moving? I have not heard of any such responsibility, because I don’t...

Put Not Your Trust in Princes 146 Praise the Lord! Praise the Lord, O my soul! 2 I will praise the Lord as long as I live; I will sing praises to my God while I have my being. 3 Put not your trust in princes, in a son of man, in whom there is no salvation. 4 When his breath departs, he returns to the earth; on that very day his plans perish. 5 Blessed is he whose help is the God of Jacob, whose hope is in the Lord his God, 6 who made heaven and earth, the...

I live in King County (Seattle). We have had 100% Mail In or Voter Drop Box elections in Washington state for more than 10 years. It is helpful that King County tracks our ballots from the day mailed, to delivery (not sure how that is traced), to reception, verification, and counting. I think this is the first time my ballot has been counted BEFORE the election. In past elections, we are usually still counting two weeks AFTER the election.

Earth’s atmosphere sees several thousand meteors of fireball magnitude each day, so they are quite common. We are just typically unable to see them due to daylight and because a vast majority occur over oceans and uninhabited regions. However, the brighter the fireball, the more rare it is. Do fireballs make a sound? Sounds like sociology’s favorite question of “If a tree falls in the forest and no one is around to hear it, does it make a noise?” But the answer is quite interesting. According to the American Meteor Society, fireballs can make a sound—two in fact. Both generated...

NEW YORK, NY—The College Board is announcing significant changes to its SAT in an effort to remain a relevant measure of college readiness. Starting next year, all test questions related to math, science, and reading comprehension will be replaced by a single coloring page depicting a likeness of Donald Trump and a space to draw devil horns on his head. "We wanted to boil everything down to the basic essentials of what today's students need to be successful at today's progressive state colleges," said College Board spokeswoman Cynthia Borshvittle. "For most publically-educated students today, literacy and math skills are a...

If you’ve already cast your ballot in this year’s election, please keep this process and our country in prayer. If you haven’t voted yet—and are debating sitting this out altogether—keep reading. This article is for you. Just the mention of politics may make you squeamish, particularly during an already chaotic 2020. But what if voting is more than just a patriotic exercise? What if it’s an opportunity for believers to do something to expand God’s kingdom? Pastor Tony Evans believes God is calling His committed followers “to the next level.” Christ followers must pray but also partner with God for...

Boyarina Feodosia Morozova starved to death in the early hours past midnight on the night of November 1-2, 1675. This wealthy “Old Believer” noblewoman (English Wikipedia entry | Russian) is one of art history’s most famous religious dissidents thanks to Vasily Surikov‘s iconic painting of her being hauled away by the authorities, defiantly making the outlawed two-fingered sign of the cross. This was big game hunted by Orthodoxy’s controversial reform movement: Boyarina Morozova’s brother-in-law was Boris Morozov, who during Tsar Alexei‘s minority had wielded the power behind the throne; her confessor was the protopope Avvakum Petrov, whose eventual martyrdom at...
