Complaints are mounting about state and local politicians’ restrictions on religious worship in the midst of the coronavirus pandemic. This week, a California county is facing criticism for introducing restrictions on singing and playing certain instruments in online worship services. Many churches now are doing online services, instead of in-person gatherings, to protect people from the virus. As Fox News reports, Mendocino County leaders issued the new restrictions just two days before Easter Sunday. The order, which affects about 86,000 people in the county, prohibits religious leaders from singing in online worship services unless they are singing in their homes...

Has anyone else tired of all the ridiculous propaganda that is being thrown at us in the guise of commercials? We are all in it together, seems to be the theme. I seriously doubt that the people in these commercials are suffering and can truly empathize with the blue collar types who are really hurting. I am also tired of all the special interest stories on the news about what people are doing to cope or the crap that they are making. They are little more than propaganda too. No coverage on all the crime that is occurring. Of course,...

Scandinavian “socialism” is often thought of as proof that conservative ideas about the free market and the economy are wrong and that socialism and high taxes work. However, this claim is incorrect for a number of reasons - Scandinavia actually proves that these ideologies and policies do not work.

ve read some heavy-duty attacks on Israel and Jews in my time, but they pale beside the anti-Semitic diatribe recently offered by Roger Waters, co-founder and former front man of the legendary British rock band Pink Floyd. In an interview with CounterPunch online magazine, Waters experienced a shocking Jew-hating colonic. According to Waters, Israel is a “racist apartheid regime” that practices “ethnic cleansing.” A great artist such as himself will not play in a country equivalent to “Vichy government in occupied France.” Likening Jews to Nazi collaborators was not enough. Waters then went further, comparing Israel to the Nazis themselves....

If SARS-Cov-2 is already endemic in the population, there is nothing we can do to stop it — but no great reason to try to stop it, either Another day, and yet more evidence has appeared that could indicate the number of people who have been infected with SARS-CoV-2, the virus which causes COVID-19, might be vastly higher than official figures suggest. This time a Californian study suggests the figure in one county could be more than 50 times the number who knew they had had the virus. A team from Stanford University and other colleges recruited volunteers in Santa...

...But Carlson missed the point -- and a golden opportunity to do something that I wish more in the media would do: Ask the Guv the kind of questions that would elicit answers outside of the stick-to-the-script monologue the left so often uses: Governor, why did you arrest Jews in their Synagogue? I’d have had some follow-ups: Governor, are you planning on arresting more Jews? Why are you only arresting Jews? What do Jews have to do to avoid being arrested? Do you consider Jews worshipping in their synagogue to be criminals? Have you arrested, or are you planning on...

Journalist Andy Ngo of The Post Millennial was infamously battered by a concrete milkshake last year, and now an ANTIFA terrorist wants to finish the job. Ngo recently received a death threat from Luis Marquez, an ANTIFA leader who hosts the Jungle to Jungle podcast. “I am going to be a cannibal, dude. I am going to chop the dude’s skull up and use it as a teacup.” he said. “I am going to feed people the body of Andy.”

"Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God" (Matt. 5:8). Legalism can’t produce a pure heart. By the time Jesus arrived, Israel was in a desperate condition spiritually. The Jewish people were in bondage to the oppressive legalism of the Pharisees, who had developed a system of laws that were impossible to keep. Consequently, the people lacked security and were longing for a savior to free them from guilt and frustration. They knew God had promised a redeemer who would forgive their sins and cleanse their hearts (Ezek. 36:25-27), but they weren't sure when He was coming...

There are certain things in life you can always depend upon to give you a sense of wellbeing, no matter what else may be going on in your life or the world around you. For example, the way a sunny April afternoon puts an extra spring in your step. The smell of coffee starting to brew as you laze in bed on a Saturday morning. That first sip of brandy after a well-prepared dinner. The last sip, too, for that matter. And of course, rounding out your workweek with... Florida Man Friday! Let us begin as we always do with...

Sorry for the vanity, but I am concerned, I work in the hospitality industry, always have. There have always been highs and lows, but this is the low of lows. With the government mandate of social distancing, I'm afraid that there will be no big gatherings, such as wedding receptions, proms, family reuions, company meetings, etc in the future.

Five Catholic schools in southern New Jersey are closing permanently because of financial problems made worse by the coronavirus pandemic, the Diocese of Camden announced Friday. The schools will be shuttered at the end of the academic year, and include Saint Joseph Regional High School in Hammonton, a south Jersey football powerhouse. Together, they educate 745 students, but have seen their enrollment drop significantly in recent years, making them financially unviable, the diocese said. “The decision to close these schools is sobering and painful,” the diocese said in a statement posted on its website. “It has not been made lightly.”...
