WUHAN—In an alarming turn of events, workers at a Wuhan research lab were seen adjusting a sign that read “92 Days Since Accidentally Releasing a Virus,” taking down the 92 and replacing it with a zero.

“Everything is still great here,” said President Xi Jinping to selected members of the press. “Nothing alarming has happened here... and certainly not for a second time.” Xi was wearing a hazmat suit, but he claimed that was because it was laundry day and that was the only thing he had left that was clean. The American press felt no need to ask any follow-up questions.

The debate about “reopening the economy” is a phony debate. It’s phony because “the economy” isn’t shut down. Far from it. Walmart is still open. Dollar General is open. Amazon is open. Alibaba is open. It just so happens that the big-box mass merchandisers and online retailers responsible for flooding our country with crap from Communist China are open. Meanwhile, other, very specific parts of the country are shut down. Family-owned shops and workshops, the backbone of America, are closed. Fast-food franchises remain open—drive-through windows are operating at full tilt—but independently owned restaurants are shuttered or trying to survive at...

The Communist Democrats, NWO freaks, and the media are trying to kill us. On Wednesday March 25, 2020 I was supposed to have dinner with First Lady Melania Trump and a number of fellow women fundraisers, at Mar-a-Lago, Palm Beach, Florida. On that morning I awoke in Washington, DC with flu symptoms. This is the story of that journey – and I promise you – a truthful report of what is really going on out there with this pandemic and how politics is responsible for the damage to the U.S. economy and for the unnecessary deaths of Americans. Day 2:...

African countries desperately need ventilators, personal protective equipment and basic medical supplies as the coronavirus spreads there. On Thursday, Sweden responded to their need with a $2 million aid plan. But the money will not be used for Africa’s biggest medical needs. Instead, the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (Sida) plans to use the funds to send abortion kits and contraception to Africa. The agency claimed abortions are important health care, but they are being neglected because of the focus on the coronavirus crisis. “Our program is especially important for vulnerable women and girls in the region. We need to...

Iran paraded a device this week which it claims can detect coronavirus cases from 100 yards away - but the contraption looks remarkably similar to a fake bomb detection gadget once flogged by a British fraudster. Iranian Revolutionary Guard chief Hossein Salami boasted that 'local scientists' had invented the 'state-of-the-art' device to detect virus cases 'remotely' without the need for a blood test. How this would work is unclear, but Iranian media claimed the device had an '80 per cent accuracy' rate and could eventually be adapted to 'detect all kinds of viruses'.

If SARS-Cov-2 is already endemic in the population, there is nothing we can do to stop it — but no great reason to try to stop it, either Another day, and yet more evidence has appeared that could indicate the number of people who have been infected with SARS-CoV-2, the virus which causes COVID-19, might be vastly higher than official figures suggest. This time a Californian study suggests the figure in one county could be more than 50 times the number who knew they had had the virus. A team from Stanford University and other colleges recruited volunteers in Santa...

I decided to dive into the available data. What I discovered is that not only can people be infected and experience no symptoms or very mild symptoms for the first few days, but this coincides with when the so-called viral load — the amount of virus being emitted from an infected person’s cells — may be the highest. That makes the virus a truly formidable opponent in our densely packed, globally connected world. We’re going to have to be smarter than this virus to stay on top of it. What does asymptomatic really mean? Let’s start with the basics. Dr....

Presumptive Democratic nominee Joe Biden said Thursday that he has started assembling a presidential transition team and is considering whether to elevate an official tasked with addressing pandemics to his Cabinet. Speaking at a virtual fundraiser, Biden said the process has been underway for several weeks. The former vice president effectively clinched the nomination just last week, when Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) suspended his campaign.

Carnival Cruises helped fuel the coronavirus pandemic by still sailing its fleet of ships even when the company's executive knew it was risky, according to a CDC epidemiologist. Cindy Friedman, the epidemiologist who is leading the CDC's coronavirus cruise ship task force, told Bloomberg Businessweek in an explosive interview that the actions of Carnival Cruises amid the pandemic has put a 'huge strain' on the United States.

It's reasonable to assume that the vast majority of Americans process news and data, and calculate that self-quarantining, wearing masks and social distancing make sense for themselves, their families and the country. Free people act out of self-preservation, but they shouldn't be coerced to act through the authoritarian whims of the state. Yet this is exactly what's happening. There has been lots of pounding of keyboards over the power grabs of authoritarians in Central and Eastern Europe. Rightly so. Yet right here, politicians act as if a health crisis gives them license to lord over the most private activities of...

Larry Hogan put the state under “stay at home” order on March 30 due to the coronavirus. The group, known as Reopen Maryland, plans to protest downtown around noon. They want the governor to reopen Maryland by May 1. “We are the strongest country on the planet and have put a man on the moon, there is no compelling reason why we can’t protect the sick and vulnerable and get our economy back to work,” a Facebook event says.
