Going to try and open up here. The report breaks things down by service area. The fly in the ointment will be child care. While they recommend opening immediately, they suggest limits of 11 children per facility and a 1 to 1 ratio of adults to children. It's going to be hard for a lot of people to go back to work without childcare, especially with schools shut down.

Turn the schools into day care centers as clearly they are not used for education.

I e-mailed Gov. Ivey early this week about re-opening. Glad we are getting some movement here in AL. Sent her an article posted here on FR. Being in the banking business, this is very, very good news!!!

Ends just before Memorial Day. The schools and churches run a lot of day camps in the summer. No word yet on when/if they are reopening.

What child care facility can afford a 1 to 1 employee/child ratio?

glad I'm not in michigan.

just got back from a shopping trip to Lowes, TSC & Walmart picking up lawn & garden supplies & the parking lots were packed like it was Black Friday.

Chick Fil A has an out parcel on the Lowes parking lot & drive thru lines were wrapped around the building twice!

This was during lunch hour & the general traffic looked like a regular rush hour every where.

buckle up, it's liable to be a wild ride when people break out of their crib.

Alabama, Tennessee, Georgia, South Carolina, Florida, and Georgia should coordinate their phased re-openings. Viruses don’t respect state borders.
