On Wednesday March 25, 2020 I was supposed to have dinner with First Lady Melania Trump and a number of fellow women fundraisers, at Mar-a-Lago, Palm Beach, Florida. On that morning I awoke in Washington, DC with flu symptoms. This is the story of that journey – and I promise you – a truthful report of what is really going on out there with this pandemic and how politics is responsible for the damage to the U.S. economy and for the unnecessary deaths of Americans.
Day 2: Woke up with a temperature of 102°, sore throat, unimaginable body aches, profound weakness and a blinding headache. As a licensed medical professional, I took steps to manage these symptoms: anti-pyretics, forced fluids, rest.
Day 3: Again woke up with a high fever and same symptoms. Called primary physician office and was initially told to slot it out, no test. An hour later, due to my age (but no pre-existing medical conditions) I received call back directing me to go to a drive through swab test in Arlington, Virginia, which I did. The experience was surreal – An outdoor parking lot with hundreds of cones creating a pathway and check points overseen by Arlington County Sheriff cars, police officers 2-3 of them standing outside each car, no protective gear, no masks, no gloves. I’m not sure what purpose they served except to prevent a “mad” patient from losing control and jumping out of their car? Large lighted signs directed us to “KEEP YOUR WINDOWS UP.” At the first checkpoint I had to hold up my ID and insurance card onto the inside of my driver’s side window for the hazmat suited nurse to snapshot

And here is the first bombshell & red flag: I asked my doctor, “if you know I am positive, why not prescribe the chloroquine medication” and his response was, “We only give that to certainpeople on ventilators,” and I asked, why would you wait until it’s hopeless? What I would soon learn was that his response was from a directive from the Virginia Department of Health and guess who controls that? Yes, the Governor of the state – the grossly, far left, blackface, babykiller, communist Democrat, Ralph Northam. I felt an icy chill run down my spine.

And I report again today that out of 41 first cousins and their spouses and kids and in some cases their kids’ kids, 20 aunts and uncles, 20 good friends and their families, everyone from work...
I still don’t know ONE PERSON that has it or ever knows of someone who has it.
I don’t know anyone complaining of a cold, cough or sore throat.
I assume some had it but in most cases it’s such a joke of a virus that they didn’t even know.
But hey, let’s keep the city/state/country closed another few weeks or months :)
I don’t care what NYC or NY does.
I’ll drive to whatever state opens a lobster or steakhouse first.

My husband’s friend died. He was already old and ill, in a nursing home. Two of my daughter’s coworkers and their husbands were infected, medium to bad flu severity, but recovering. The father of another coworker died. I know two people who knew members of the Fusco family where four of them died and others were ill.
And my other daughter is a young volunteer EMT picking up extra shifts and assessing and transporting Covid 19 patients. The criteria for not transporting are shifting into more dangerous territory. First it was pulse under 110 could be left home. Now it is up to 120.
The nursing home a mile away has cases among patients and staff.
My town has approx 1 in 200 residents testing positive, multiply by at least 10 or 20 for testing shortages, delays in results and mild or early cases.
These Democratic governors have blood on their hands. The Hydroxychloroquine/ Zithromax treatment must be started as soon as a patient develops fever and dry cough. Waiting for shortness of breath or an x-ray that demonstrates pneumonitis is not what an astute physician would do. These governors are killing people by knowingly preventing access to hydroxychloroquine.

20 days with Covid-19...I’m calling bullshit on this story. I have never heard other than a tropical fever, raging infection or AIDS anyone running a 102 fever for 3 weeks. Sorry not buying it. I think she had a week of horrid symptoms and the other 2 she is exaggerating.
Baby Killer Northam is standing at the gates of Hell (while he protests how “religious” he is). Only God & he will know whether he repents or not. All he cares about is what I call “Ralph’s Revenge” ... he’ll show us all who’s boss after almost losing his position as Governor for his baby-killing comments & the Blackface (or was it White Sheets - we still don’t know) episode. The man does NOT care about human life ... if he doesn’t care about babies born alive or even those murdered with abortion, what makes you think he cares about anyone else ... especially if he can use “controlavirus” to ruin the economy & hurt Trump? She said she was a 2X Cancer survivor and really she was 101-102 for 15 days (The 3rd week she is kind of paraphrasing the first 2 weeks).
She is not an average CCV case.
We know a 30something non smoking health nut (avid tennis player) who was sick for 3 weeks with this.
She slept the first 2 weeks, almost couldn’t be woken up. The 3rd week she was in excruciating pain.
Lower/mid back. She’s being worked up the last we heard to see if she’s got kidney damage.
She went to Mardi Gras to visit friends. They did NOT go to the French Quarter, just ate out a night or two and she shopped a little by herself.
Not only was she out of work for 3 weeks (initially worked up for strep, then flu, then welllll, come back for this new test for CV) sick and then two MORE weeks waiting for a negative test result.
So, out of work for 5 weeks. Fortunately she’s a modern day Della Street and her job waited.
Her story sounds vastly similar to an old college buddy’s version, only he didn’t get an antibiotic early on, and he really cratered. Notice she said she was prescribed azithromycin and took it religiously. It may have helped her in the long run.
My college buddy stayed in bed with fever, fatigue, and a cough (he said it was crunchy) for 8 or 9 days before his wife insisted that they go to an urgent care. He said all food tasted horrible. When he got to the urgent care, they immediately sent him to the ER. That was the last he saw of his wife until he was released nearly 2 weeks later. Once he was at the ER they swabbed his nasal passages, and he said that was awful. Those tests eventually came back positive for CoVid 19.
From the ER he went straight into the ICU. He begged the doctor to only let him use the oxygen through his nose. He said he had a feeling that if he went on a ventilator, that he would never walk out of the place alive. This was in mid-March before there were reports of how unsuccessful the ventilators were. He said it was a gut feeling so he tried to get as many deep breaths as he could. He spent over a week in the ICU, fighting to breath.
The crunchy cough started to give way. When they moved him out of the ICU, he asked if he would be allowed to walk instead of going in a wheelchair. He really wanted to stretch his legs and see if he could handle it. They let him do that, while someone followed him with the wheelchair just in case he collapsed. He spent another 3 days on the main floor. I don’t know when his fever broke. I’ve forgotten some of those details, but I presume he still had the fever on the regular floor. I’m sure they wouldn’t have released him if he still had the fever, but he was told to remain in quarantine at his home for 2 more weeks. He is roughly my age, either 59 or 60. This was in the Atlanta area. He has no idea how he contracted it, and doesn’t know anyone else who had it.
I think the early azithromycin for the author was what helped her keep from going into ICU. It doesn’t surprise me that she had a fever for so many weeks.

My wife was exposed to the first case in our county. She had to isolate for 2 weeks, thank God, no symptoms.
However, her friend who exposed her contracted the virus on or around March 1, and just had her first negative test April 12. I don’t know the severity and f the symptoms .
