This stuff does lay waste if it gets inside a nursing home.
It does require that level of vigilance.
Unfortunately many nursing homes are poorly managed.
You’re a little late.
This thing is already ending.
No surprise it can “be stopped”, but the regimen is unsustainable on a large scale basis.
Cudos to your daughter & others for their vigilence
Not in my state and county.
Yep. They locked down all the young healthy people, and then actual medical professionals ran around infecting all the most vulnerable.
A majority of our breakouts in Virginia were long-term care facilities. Again, not because of visitors, who were barred, but they assume because some medical workers brought it in, and then spread it. One facility had most all of their people infected, and 46 deaths.
I think I have this virus. All week I’ve been tired as hell and been having trouble breathing and then I read when it starts off there’s no mucus? As Spock would say “Fascinating”.

But, but, but...some random person on the internet declared it was over!
According to my daughter, it starts off with a dry cough and fever. You need to call your doctor, and they will tell you what to do next.
The amount of idiocy on the internet is the true epidemic in addition to the virus.

Those are probably the most common first symptoms, though I hear a complete loss of the senses of smell and/or taste are relatively common, also.
Yup, these drugs should be the standard prescribed start treatment, unless the particular patient is known to likely have a severe, potentially deadly, reaction.
At any rate, just let the patient know the drugs are not approved (by Democrats, that is) and have them sign waivers.
Not sure why this is under News instead of Bloggers. Anyway, here is the correct title and the whole blog, which was only two paragraphs anyway. So now it’s not clickbait.

Briarcliff Skilled Nursing reports additional COVID-19 cases
From Staff Reports
Briarcliff Skilled Nursing has updated its COVID-19 numbers. They are now up to 12 residents and eight staff who have tested positive for the virus.
24 residents and 10 employees have been tested, with six resident tests and one employee test coming back negative. They currently have four pending cases for residents and one pending for an employee. They have also had two resident deaths due to COVID-19, which were previously reported.
Get off the internet and call your doctor. Good luck.
The funny part is no matter what the deepstate dem party does, Trump wins.
If they push to keep the economy closed, people will want more of Trump.
If the economy opens sooner, people will still want more of Trump!
I do have a dry cough but no fever. What’s bizarre is I feel dehydrated a lot, like my lungs dont have any mucus. Yeah thanks, I’m going to call my doctor. I just may be the first Freeper who has this virus unless I’m mistaken. I live in New York BTW, the most infected place on the planet currently unless the Chinese are lying.
That seems to be the case everywhere I've read about.
She said the last 7 tests she gave at the middle of the week have all come back negative, and the one patient they had to send to the hospital is now ready to be released and come back to the home. It appears they have held it to 3 cases and no deaths while the other facilities around them are being ravaged by it. The local population here seems to appreciate their efforts.
