A Montgomery federal court judge was elevated to a seat on a federal appeals court Tuesday after the U.S. Senate voted along party lines confirming Judge Andrew Brasher to the 11th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals. Brasher, who quickly rose up the ranks from Alabama’s solicitor general to a federal judgeship, was confirmed in a 52-43 vote in the Senate. His nomination faced criticism from the Alabama NAACP and other groups, who contended that he would be unfair to African Americans after he supported gutting key provisions of the Voting Rights Act of 1965. Brasher, who was nominated by President...

CHICAGO (AP) — In what’s sure to be a politically charged ceremony, more than 2,400 fetuses found last year at the suburban Chicago home of one of the Midwest’s most prolific abortion doctors will be buried Wednesday in Indiana, a state with some of the nation’s toughest anti-abortion laws. Indiana’s top law enforcement official will preside over the mass burial in South Bend. The service comes five months after relatives sorting through Dr. Ulrich Klopfer’s belongings after his Sept. 3 death came across 2,246 sets of preserved fetal remains stacked floor to ceiling in his garage. Later, 165 more were...
  • Was Pete Buttigieg’s Father a Marxist Who Spoke Fondly of ‘Communist Manifesto’? (Snopes says yes)

In early 2020, we received multiple inquiries from readers about the accuracy of a 10-month-old article which purported to highlight the left-wing ideology of Joseph Buttigieg, a prominent academic and the late father of Democratic presidential primary contender Pete Buttigieg. The article, published in April 2019 by the right-leaning Washington Examiner, was later shared on social media at a time when the mayor of South Bend, Indiana, appeared to perform well in the disputed Iowa caucuses, and joined U.S. Sen. Bernie Sanders in leading the polls ahead of the New Hampshire primary on Feb. 11. The Washington Examiner piece bore...

Here's hoping 2020 is the best year yet!! Now that he has been forever acquitted, President Trump should put the failed partisan impeachment attempt behind him, then concentrate on winning the 2020 election with wide coattails. Then bide his time as the cases against the various coup plotters wind their way through the justice system. Highest priority political items: Win the election, hold the senate, take back the house!! And then continue the work of making America great again: Build the wall, enforce the law, deport them all!! End DACA!! End sanctuary cities!! End anchor babies!! Continue cutting regulations, cutting...
  • MSNBC Accidentally Meets a Trump Supporter Outside a Bernie Rally - and it was Pretty Priceless

Well she wasn't expecting that! MSNBC's Katy Tur camped outside a Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) rally on Tuesday expecting to find some of the senator's fervent fans. But one gentleman made sure she knew he was not a Bernie bro. Not even close. Instead of praising Sanders's socialist policies, he proudly explained why he voted for Donald John Trump. "Bernie Sanders is not appealing to you?" Tur offered. Instead of responding with just a simple "no," he gave the reporter more than she bargained for. "The whole ideology would be destructive to the country," the man explained. "It's anti-growth, it's...

Last December, I received an early Christmas present that I would have rejected just one year earlier: an “M” for “male” on my driver’s license. The switch back to male marked the end of a long journey of gender confusion and self-deception. Along the way I became a transgender activist and then America’s first legally non-binary person. By Christmas Eve 2019, I was done with the lies. By God’s grace, a Portland judge granted my petition to legally restore my sex to male. This has been a five-year ordeal. I first rose to become a transgender activist in 2015, telling...

I plan on using a 5 pound hammer and steel punch to mark my ballot for Trump. We're not supposed to be vindictive or vengeful but unfortunately, that's exactly what I want. After 3 years of watching these Democrats throw down obstruction spike strips in front of Trump and after the lying cheating Democrats attempted to criminally undermine, compromise and overthrow this legitimately elected president, I'm not embarrassed to say I want revenge. I can hardly wait for the payback party, the 2nd biggest political upset in American history.

MANCHESTER, NH - Olympians know bronze feels better than silver. Now, Sen. Amy Klobuchar does too. Finishing third in New Hampshire's Democratic presidential primary Tuesday meant breathing a burst of life into her campaign and holding her most reviled rival, Pete Buttigieg, the former mayor of South Bend, Indiana, to a second-place showing. Her home-stretch surge, fueled by a stellar debate performance Friday, appeared to be the key factor that robbed Buttigieg of the votes he needed to top Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-Vt. The surprise star turn combined with the fading of former Vice President Joe Biden and Sen. Elizabeth...

Trump Primary numbers in Iowa and New Hampshire for un-opposed primaries are "record breaking." So who are all these voters going to participate and cast a pointless vote? I am thinking many of these voters might be "new" Trump supporters and former democrat voters. This primary voting has been advertised and pushed on democrat voters. I don't know if there is anyway to test this, but it might be an alternate explanation. It seems to be a good indicator of what is to come in November, one way or another.

The nightmare at sea continues for thousands stranded on cruise ships in Asia due to concerns over the COVID-19 outbreak. The number of infections on board the Diamond Princess docked in Japan has jumped to 175, after another 39 cases were confirmed. A Japanese health official who was surveying those on board has been infected. He had been wearing a mask and gloves but not a protective suit. Meanwhile, the MS Westerdam remains adrift in the Gulf of Thailand. It was turned away by several ports, despite no confirmed infections on board.

Association of Flight Attendants President Sara Nelson criticized former South Bend, Ind., Mayor Pete Buttigieg Wednesday for a tweet defending private health insurance, that appeared to characterize the employer-provided health benefits as gains won by union workers. Buttigieg defended his proposed “Medicare for All Who Want It” plan, saying 14 million union members have “fought hard for strong employer-provided health benefits” in a tweet Wednesday morning. Nelson, who played a key role in ending the federal government shutdown last year, called the invocation of labor rights “offensive and dangerous.” “Stop perpetuating this gross myth. Not every union member has union...

The Department of Health and Human Services is threatening to withhold healthcare funds from California unless it meets a deadline this month to stop requiring health insurance plans to cover elective abortions. State officials have vowed to fight the move. On Jan. 24, the HHS Office of Civil Rights notified California that state mandates requiring universal abortion coverage violate federal conscience statutes and that it has 30 days to comply with the law. The notice stemmed from two complaints alleging California engaged in unlawful discrimination when in 2014, the state's Department of Managed Health Care said health plan issuers must...

MSNBC’s Joy Reid said Tuesday on her network’s New Hampshire primary coverage that to defeat President Donald Trump, the 2020 Democratic nominee will have to “fight like a Republican.” Reid pointed to former New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg because “he is a Republican, or used to be, anyway.” Reid said, “He still sounds like a Republican to a lot of people. So it’s a weird coalition.... (snip) (Reid) continued, “I know Republicans who — they don’t mind the fiscal policies of Trump. They like that, but they also want to sleep at night. Unless something unforeseen happens -- which it still could, because that's what "unforeseen" means -- Elizabeth Warren isn't going to be the Democratic nominee for president in 2020. This is bad news for fans of comedy, but good news for everybody else. Even a cuck RINO traitor like me, who has given up caring about anything and is only in this to watch the chaos, wouldn't prefer that walking disaster. Warren is basically a more ambulatory, less trustworthy Hillary Clinton. But Fauxcahontas still has her fans. According to her, at least. And they're selflessly devoted to her, if you believe...

Catherine Herridge might have left Fox News and gone to CBS, but so far that hasn’t stopped her from covering stories or pointing out issues that a lot of the other media doesn’t and she just dropped a pretty interesting scoop. We reported on how they had received some information from Rudy Giuliani. But it’s much more than that. According to the report, they’re looking beyond the Biden question at Ukraine. From CBS: Justice Department officials have been “quietly” reviewing records and documents from Ukraine for “several weeks,” a source familiar with the matter tells CBS News. The source said...

Despite multiple efforts to push the iconic A-10 Warthog's retirement date further into the future, the U.S. Air Force is now slated to shelve dozens of the Cold War-era ground-attack planes in the upcoming fiscal year, according to the service's budget request.

Trump Derangement Syndrome (TDS) is a social mental illness that manifests itself in the refusal to accept the results of the 2016 elections. This ailment belongs to the category of political psychosis. Unlike most other mental disorders, TDS is a contagious disease that can cause epidemics and even pandemics. This syndrome is caused by the new neuropathologic coronavirus Bacillus Anti-Trumpicus (2016-nCoV). The virus, entering the human brain, selectively eats only those neurons responsible for a coherent political worldview. Theoretically, the disease is incurable, although some countries have announced successful attempts to combat the epidemic and control the spread of infection....

Seven hundred kids. That’s how many students would have lost their scholarships—and a chance at a better life—if Fifth Third Bank hadn’t come to its senses. Instead, after a week of uncertainty, the company sat down with Florida parents and pastors and decided not to listen to Florida’s cultural bullies. It’s one thing for a company to support LGBT extremism. It’s quite another, the bank agreed, to hurt needy children in the process. Most kids had already left school for the weekend when they got the good news: One of the biggest contributors to the Florida voucher program wasn’t dropping...

After a dismal performance in New Hampshire Tuesday, Deval Patrick is suspending his presidential campaign. "[T]he vote in New Hampshire last night was not enough for us to create the practical wind at the campaign’s back to go on to the next round of voting," Patrick said in an email to supporters Wednesday.
