Catherine Herridge might have left Fox News and gone to CBS, but so far that hasn’t stopped her from covering stories or pointing out issues that a lot of the other media doesn’t and she just dropped a pretty interesting scoop.
We reported on how they had received some information from Rudy Giuliani.
But it’s much more than that. According to the report, they’re looking beyond the Biden question at Ukraine.

Justice Department officials have been “quietly” reviewing records and documents from Ukraine for “several weeks,” a source familiar with the matter tells CBS News.
The source said staff outside of Main Justice in Washington have been assigned by Attorney General William Barr to review the Ukraine matter, adding that the review is being handled by the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Pittsburgh and is separate from U.S. Attorney John Durham’s probe into the origins of the FBI’s Russia probe.
The new review includes some material provided by Rudy Giuliani, the president’s personal attorney, but goes beyond matters regarding former Vice President Joe Biden and his son, Hunter, who served on the board of a Ukrainian energy company.
Lindsey Graham mentioned on Sunday that Barr had received information from Giuliani on Ukraine and Barr confirmed that on Monday noting that anyone can give them information.
On Monday, Barr said the Justice Department had “an open door to anybody who wishes to provide us information that they think is relevant” and had established an “intake process in the field” for receiving and verifying material from Ukraine. He said any information from Giuliani or others would be “carefully scrutinized by the department and its intelligence community partners so that we could assess its provenance and its credibility.”
Barr warned that one had to be careful about information from Ukraine because there are a lot of “agendas” there.
Democrats including House Judiciary Chair Jerry Nadler flipped out over Barr’s remarks, writing a letter to him, saying he, Nadler, had concerns about Giuliani giving the DOJ information. Nadler suggested that they were targeting a political opponent. That of course is pretty rich given what was done against the Trump campaign under the Obama administration. One has to wonder what Nadler is worried about.
While there are obviously questions about the Bidens, there are also questions about possible interference in our 2016 election and the role of the Democrats or the DNC and Ukraine in that.
The fact that Barr took it out of main justice and assigned it to a separate U.S. Attorney, as he did with the Russia probe and U.S. Attorney John Durham, makes me think he believes there’s a lot there to look at as well as he wants to ensure that an independent eye looks at it.
Backup for rumors of pending arrests?

I trust Barr. If he was Deep State he would give this information someone deep in the swamp and we would never hear about it again.

Not a very interesting “scoop”. Just more of the same conjecture.
I’ll wait for the event instead of being the least bit concerned about the rumor on this subject.
More desperate reporting to fill the 24/7 news cycle. There never has been enough legitimate news to fill that cycle and keep people watching so they have to make something up. What a lousy job.

Yup- and then coming out with “I have reviewed the tapes, and there was no evidence of foul play’ (or something along that line- can’t remember what he said now)

Biden was damaged goods BEFORE the phone call. The call definitely told us that.
Yes he was, but maybe, as incredible as it may seem, they thought voters wouldn't notice.
They are not freaking out “just” to protect Biden. But to protect “all of them.”
They are all corrupt. Ukraine is just the most recent funnel, after Iraq and Afghanistan.
I would actually love to see all of the corrupt—Rep and Democrat outed at one time.
