Suess described "a certain slowness," particularly among Latin American bishops, to accept proposals to create a female diaconate as well as other "innovations." There St. John writes: “Then I saw another angel flying directly overhead, with an eternal gospel to proclaim to those who dwell on earth, to every nation and tribe and language and people. And he said with a loud voice, ‘Fear God and give him glory, because the hour of his judgment has come, and worship him who made heaven and earth, the sea and the springs of water.’” Now the question immediately arises: How did this text come to...

Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH), the ranking member of the House Oversight and Reform Committee, sent a letter to State Department official Philip Reeker asking him to agree to move his deposition on a date when the House is in session. Reeker, the Acting Assistant Secretary of European and Eurasian Affairs, is set to appear on Saturday. In the letter obtained by Townhall, Jordan accused House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff (D-CA) of purposefully moving Reeker's testimony to when some Republicans may not be able to appear to further isolate them from the impeachment inquiry into President Trump. Jordan wrote to...

On Friday during Rep. Elijah Cummings’ (D-MD) funeral, former Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton used a Biblical analogy to take a veiled shot at President Donald Trump and first lady Melania Trump. Clinton was comparing Cummings to his namesake, the Biblical prophet Elijah, who stood up against wicked King Ahab and Queen Jezebel. Clinton said, “Like the prophet, our Elijah could call down fire from heaven — but he also prayed and worked for healing.” She added, “Like that Old Testament prophet, he stood against corrupt leadership of King Ahab and Queen Jezebel.” The crowd roared in acknowledgment.

He worshiped my wife and followed her around as if she were some kind of feline deity, but would deign to spend some time with me as well. Damn. I sure will miss him.

I think she’s a fine person, a good candidate, but I didn’t get involved in deciding to run because...

Demoting Islam's Religion Status The following article is written by Martel Sobieskey and is reprinted here with his permission. ONE THING is certain, Islam is not a religion by anything Americans believe one to be -- not even close. In fact, Islam is the antithesis of what we deem to be religious. Above all, Islam is a totalitarian political machine of bloodthirsty conquest which zealously advocates the downfall of the U.S. government. Jesus said, "My kingdom is not of this world. . ." because he...
