Officers arrested 177 people at the Twin Peaks shooting in 2015. Four years later, only one person has stood trial. All of the other cases have been dismissed. Four years ago terrified diners were forced to take cover after shots rang out at a Twin Peaks restaurant in Waco. What is now known as the deadliest biker shootout in U.S. history left nine people dead and 20 wounded. Waco will not soon forget photos from the scene, showing bikers, some with guns blazing, crowding the restaurant. “A great majority of them had guns, hatchets, knives and other deadly weapons with...

This is collusion. The real thing. Dossier author Christopher Steele identified a former Russian spy chief and a top adviser to Russian President Vladimir Putin as being involved in handling potentially compromising information about President Donald Trump, State Department notes show. In her notes, State Department official Kathleen Kavalec also referred to the two Russians — former Russian foreign intelligence chief Vyacheslav Trubnikov and Putin aide Vladislav Surkov — as “sources.” The references to Trubnikov and Surkov, which have not previously been reported, are not definitive proof that either were sources for Steele’s dossier or that they were involved in an...

This made for a real crappy commute. A nasty clogged-up toilet and nature calling for a pair of MTA workers during Friday’s morning rush-hour snarled subway service on five different lines, according to the transit agency and a report. The double bathroom break caused temporary service changes on the A, C and E lines and prompted delays on those lines, as well as hold-ups on the F and M lines, the MTA said. “So there was a movement during a no movement period.”

This month’s announcement from Party City that it’s closing more than 40 stores as it grapples with new challenges, including diminishing helium supplies, likely came as unwelcome news to customers who count on the store for their balloon and event planning needs. But for scientists like Mark Elsesser, the announcement was something of a relief, inflating hopes that the public, and the government, might start paying closer attention. “When it comes to helium, we’re at a tipping point,” said Elsesser, who is the associate director of government affairs at the American Physical Society, a nonprofit association of physicists. “Party City...

I just watched this video, which was first published on YouTube in February 2018, and found it completely riveting. In this speech, Ms. Strassel does an amazing job of bringing to light the scary depths of federal government corruption, while at the same time offering an optimistic view of what we can do and, more importantly, what is being done now under the Trump administration to drain the swamp. Or course, there's still much more to be done. In my opinion every Freeper should watch this video and share it whenever possible. LINK (56:01 and WELL worth the time!)

Tensions in the Middle East are escalating, driving oil prices higher and sparking concerns about conflict between the U.S. and Iran. The Trump administration took steps this week that appear geared toward finding a diplomatic pathway after a year of ratcheting up pressure on Iran. Analysts say Iran is likely not ready to negotiate and will seek to strengthen its hand before it agrees to talks.

Iraq: Elderly Assyrian Christian women stabbed to death as jihadists terrorize their homeland community. The whole world is obsessed about the Palestinians who are referenced as “indigenous people” when they are really peoples from Ottoman South Syria. The Jews are the indigenous inhabitants of their land, as are Christians throughout the Middle East–both groups tormented by jihadists who want them to either be dhimmis or vanish. The aim of the Palestinian leadership to obliterate Israel is no secret and neither is the continual persecution of Christians. With this propaganda driven obsession about “indigenous” Palestinians, who pays attention to the rights...

This week, Alabama and Missouri enacted legislation severely restricting abortions carried out in their states. In Missouri, abortions after eight weeks of pregnancy were banned. In Alabama all abortions except those necessary to preserve the life or health of the mother were outlawed. Sen. Kamala Harris (Calif) called these laws "an invitation to inflict the nightmare from The Handmaid's Tale on the women of this country." Unfortunately for her argument, in The Handmaid's Tale fertile women are enslaved, raped, and forced to bear children for the ruling class. Neither of these state laws does anything remotely like that. These laws...

Belgian taxpayers forced to compensate jihadi prisoners who were isolated “A court in Belgium has forced the Belgian state to compensate radical Islamic prisoners because of a policy of isolating them from the rest of the prison population aimed at stopping the spread of radicalisation.” Taxpayers are in essence being forced to foot a bill for jihadist prisoners that would enable them to continue spreading their jihadi ideology when they should be isolated to contain the spread of their salafi doctrine. This clearly also threatens the security of Belgian citizens. Robert Spencer reported in November that “Belgium faces a “persistent...

When Attorney General William P. Barr described the early stages of the Russia investigation as “spying” on the Trump campaign, he prompted questions about whether he had used that word spontaneously — or whether he was deliberately fueling conspiracy theories. That question flared anew on Friday after Mr. Barr went even further in casting doubt on the legitimacy of the investigation in two interviews that, by design or coincidence, provided fresh ammunition for President Trump and allies to attack law enforcement and intelligence agencies. Mr. Barr told Fox News he had been asking whether “government officials abused their power and...

Turkey: Many Celebrate the Burning of the Cathedral of Notre Dame by Uzay Bulut The official Facebook page of Turkey's pro-government daily, Sabah, for example, is filled with praise for the destruction of the cathedral. Sadly, Islamic supremacism not only targets the churches of Western Christians. It targets Yazidi, Zoroastrian, Buddhist and Hindu temples too. These religious minorities in the Muslim world are completely vulnerable, defenseless and severely persecuted.... In many Muslim countries, Muslim-on-Muslim violence is also quite commonplace. The Islamic hatred of different religious groups is not about geography -- the East or the West. It is about religious...

Sweden: Wife of senior Jewish leader stabbed 9 times in street by Muslim man; police not treating it as hate crime A Jewish woman in her 60’s who is the wife of a senior leader of the local Helsingborg’s Jewish community–and its secretary–was randomly stabbed 9 times by a Muslim man who is “known to police”. Yet investigators are not treating the incident as a hate crime. That is absurd. “Israel’s Foreign Ministry said the stabbing appeared to have been anti-Semitic in nature. A leading rabbi echoed this sentiment.” The rise of violent anti-semitism is so bad in Sweden that...

FULL TITLE: Treason: Docs PROVE Deep State hacks Obama, Comey, Brennan, and Clapper aided Russian efforts to divide Americans with ‘Spygate’ Treason is not a word that anyone should use lightly, but based on recent revelations regarding the “Spygate” operation aimed at undermining Donald Trump’s presidential campaign and his presidency, it is a term that seems very fitting to describe acts and actions taken by several Obama-era officials, including the former president himself. The Merriam-Webster dictionary defines treason as, “the offense of attempting by overt acts to overthrow the government of the state to which the offender owes allegiance or...

Palestinian Fatwa: The Husband Has the Right to Enjoy His Wife Sexually At Any Time Linda Sarsour said that Mohammed was the original feminist. She has an interesting idea of feminism. Here, via Itamar Marcus of Palestinian Media Watch, is a Palestinian Authority fatwa whose feminism is simply breathtaking. Sex on demand “at any time” is a husband’s right – this is what Palestinians were taught in the official PA daily’s religious ruling section yesterday. Moreover, a husband’s “right” to “enjoy his wife” sexually “at all times” supersedes the woman’s right to accept upon herself a religious fast: “A woman...

Former FBI Director James Comey ripped into Attorney General William Barr on Friday, accusing him of “sliming his own department” after Barr said that government power was used “to spy on American citizens.” “The AG should stop sliming his own Department,” Comey tweeted. “If there are bad facts, show us, or search for them professionally and then tell us what you found.” “An AG must act like the leader of the Department of Justice, an organization based on truth,” he said. “Donald Trump has enough spokespeople.” Comey did not specify what comments he was reacting to, but the tweet came...

Tucker Carlson blasted Rep. Ilhan Omar as “a symbol of America’s failed immigration system” in his argument about Democrats and immigration. The Fox News host took a shot at the Minnesota Democrat during his remarks on “Tucker Carlson Tonight,” discussing a proposed immigration overhaul recently revealed by the Trump administration. Carlson then noted that the benefit to the country is not a point that matters to the left and turned to Omar as “a symbol of America’s failed immigration system if there ever was one.” He called the Muslim congresswoman and Somali refugee “someone who hates this country” and who...
