Security is something that is always on the minds of users these days, and that includes those who use Linux. TechWeek Europe has a disturbing article about a Linux trojan that captures audio and takes screenshots. It remains to be seen how widespread this Trojan is among Linux users and what the exact attack vector is for it. Steve McCaskill reports for TechWeek Europe: Security researchers have found a new Linux Trojan capable of taking screenshots of infected systems and even recording sound. Russian anti-virus firm Dr Web says that once the Linux.Ekoms.1 malware is launched it checks for two...

Already at the age of 12 I was dreaming of making a machine which could make things! A machine which would give me the opportunity to create products for in and around the house. Two years later I stumbled ont the words 'Computer Numerical Control' or more specifically the CNC milling machine. After I found out people were able to build one themselves in their own shed, I knew it! I had to build one, I yearned to have it!! For three months I tried to find the proper parts (A dremeltool, drawer slides, pieces of wood, etc.), but I...

Explaining Trump is easy: We have finally realized that regardless of what they SAY, there is very little difference between what the Republicans and Democrats actually DO once they are in power. We can not fix it within the system. We have tried that and failed miserably. So we have turned to outsiders (primarily Trump and Cruz). We are fed up with BOTH parties and want to fire essentially ALL of them. This is my attempt to explain Trump. Someone else can explain Cruz. Trump is not as pure as the driven snow. But we have tried pure before and...

The conservative commentariat has imploded in dismay at Sarah Palin’s endorsement of Donald Trump in Iowa on Tuesday. Fans of Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) , Trump’s main rival in Iowa and beyond, were understandably dismayed. But the reaction went far beyond that. Some said Palin betrayed her conservative principles by choosing a candidate whose conservatism is shallow at best. And some rehashed the personal attacks that have been a staple of the left. In fact, Sarah Palin’s endorsement of Trump makes sense, and fits both her politics and her personality.

Some folks, including Don Trump, think Senator Cruz is not entitled to run for president because he is not a "natural born" citizen. This matter was debated when John McCain ran for the office, yet it seems that the correct answers are still not generally appreciated. So... ...is Senator Ted Cruz qualified to be president? Yes, because the 1790 Immigration Act declares flatly that people in his circumstances are "natural-born" citizens. That law followed the adoption of the constitution by about two years, and some of the founding fathers of the nation were in the Congress at the time. One...

Donald Trump ripped Karl Rove at a campaign rally in Tulsa, Oklahoma this afternoon that featured former Gov. Sarah Palin. TRUMP: Karl Rove, this guy he predicted -- he thinks Romney won the election. Remember? Romney won. He won. I'm telling you. They had to take him off the air in a basket.

The most unusual tribunal in the republic meets around 25 times per year, usually on Tuesdays in the gray-paneled conference room on the third floor of the Reichstag where conservative parliamentarians often meet. At the front sits the defendant, German Chancellor Angela Merkel. Her accusers sit at the long rows of tables before her, the three or four dozen backbenchers who are increasingly adopting the tone of a public prosecutor when addressing Merkel's refugee policies. Last week saw the most recent such session. "We must finally begin to effectively register the refugees," said Armin Schuster, a member of Merkel's Christian...

DURHAM, N.H. --There is no change at the top of the Republican presidential field, but with less than three weeks remaining in the 2016 New Hampshire first-in-the-nation primary campaign, there is both a new runner-up and a tie for third place. Click to watch News 9's coverage New York businessman Donald Trump, for the first time, has a 20 percentage point lead in the Granite State, according to the latest WMUR/CNN New Hampshire Primary Poll. But U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz of Texas has supplanted U.S. Sen. Marco Rubio of Florida in second place, while former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush has...

Jewish groups pushed back against government insistence that anti-Semitism is not growing in Germany at a gathering on Tuesday, saying that newly-arrived Muslim migrants and the traditional far-right both posed a threat to their safety. Interior Minister Thomas de Maiziere told the Jewish community in Frankfurt that he was more worried about home-grown Muslim extremists than any arriving among refugees. He was countered by Salomon Korn, president of the Frankfurt Jewish community, who said that most of the new arrivals came from countries which did not enjoy an "englightened" version of Islam -- unlike Turkey, where most Muslims previously living...

Currently, Ted Cruz is trying to pose as an aw-shucks country lawyer, despite his elite connections. But the problem is that those connections are out there for all to see. And one of the most troubling is his wife Heidi, a Goldman Sachs investment manager who served on the task force which wrote the report on “Building a North American Community,†a direct attack on American independence. It includes a recommendation to build a European Union style abolition of borders between Mexico and the United States. Lay the groundwork for the freer flow of people within North America. The three...

Caltech researchers have found evidence of a giant planet tracing a bizarre, highly elongated orbit in the outer solar system. The object, which the researchers have nicknamed Planet Nine, has a mass about 10 times that of Earth and orbits about 20 times farther from the sun on average than does Neptune (which orbits the sun at an average distance of 2.8 billion miles). In fact, it would take this new planet between 10,000 and 20,000 years to make just one full orbit around the sun. The researchers, Konstantin Batygin and Mike Brown, discovered the planet's existence through mathematical modeling...

Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) 97% has a theory as to why everyone is warming up to Donald Trump: Trump will make deals in Washington D.C. instead of fighting for conservatism. Speaking to reporters after a campaign rally, Cruz said that the establishment was no longer looking to Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL) 79% as their champion. “We’re seeing something remarkable happening in this Republican primary,†Cruz said, according to National Review’s Eliana Johnson. “Right now, the Washington establishment is abandoning Marco Rubio, they’ve made the assessment that Marco can’t win this race, and the Washington establishment is rushing over to support...

BEGIN TRANSCRIPT RUSH: "A .50-caliber rifle found at Joaquin 'El Chapo' Guzman's hideout in Mexico was funneled through [Obama's] gun-smuggling operation known as Fast and Furious, sources confirmed Tuesday to Fox News. ... Former Attorney General Eric Holder was held in contempt after he refused to divulge documents for a congressional investigation into the matter," if you recall. "A .50-caliber is a massive rifle that can stop a car, or as it was intended, take down a helicopter." El Chapo was found to have one in his possession, and it was part of Obama's Fast and Furious operation. Now, for...

At some point during the past week I entered a Twilight Zone episode where constitutional conservative Sarah Palin thinks Donald Trump is the future of America and elder statesmen Bob Dole thinks Ted Cruz, more so than the third-party-flirting former Democrat Trump, is the one with the loyalty problem to the GOP. Incidentally, didn’t this guy endorse Jeb Bush? Why is he talking up Trump here? “I question his allegiance to the party,†Mr. Dole said of Mr. Cruz. “I don’t know how often you’ve heard him say the word ‘Republican’ — not very often.†Instead, Mr. Cruz uses the...

Intel has patched a major flaw in its driver utility tool that could allow attackers to install malware on victim PCs remotely. The chipmaker has issued a patch advisory for its Driver Update Utility, urging customers to download the new version of the software. The tool analyses system drivers on a user's computer and reports on and downloads any new drivers that are available. The flaw - which exists because the software requests new drivers from Intel servers over an unencrypted connection - allows attackers to instigate man-in-the-middle attacks and cause the download of malicious files and software on victim...

BEGIN TRANSCRIPT RUSH: Bernie Sanders, he leads Hillary Clinton 60 to 33% in New Hampshire in a WMUR poll, and the New York Times has a story on how a bunch of young feminists (exactly what we predicted on this program) are beginning to abandon Hillary as they learn about the "bimbo eruptions" and all of that. The New York Times has the story... The picture is with Lena Dunham, you know, supposedly the icon of modern-era feminism. (sigh) Another reason, folks, I'm glad I am older and am the age I am. If that's the... count me out. Nowhere...

Actress Lena Dunham, who has been aggressively campaigning for Hillary Clinton, privately doubted the Democratic presidential candidate for discrediting women who made sexual assault allegations against her husband, former President Bill Clinton, according to a report Wednesday. Dunham, a fierce advocate for Planned Parenthood and other liberal causes, reportedly made the comments at a dinner party on New York’s Upper East Side months ago. The New York Times reported: She told the guests, at the Park Avenue apartment of Richard Plepler, the chief executive of HBO, that she was disturbed by how, in the 1990s, the Clintons and their allies...

On Wednesday, Senate Democrats successfully and predictably blocked what many conservatives described as Rep. Paul Ryan (R-WI) 56% ’s “Show Vote'â€on refugee admissions. It has been called a show vote because the Ryan plan, even if the President signed it, would still allow the President to bring in an unlimited number of refugees from an unlimited number of countries. Democrats’ filibuster on the motion to proceed to Ryan’s show vote comes one month after Speaker Ryan sent President Obama a blank check to fund visa issuances to nearly 300,000 (temporary and permanent) Muslim migrants in the next 12 months alone....

BEGIN TRANSCRIPT RUSH: Greencastle, Indiana. Seth, it's great to have you on the program. Hello, sir. CALLER: Hi, Rush. Pleasure to speak with you. As a father, as a husband, as a patriot, I want to thank you for being our conservative champion out there, the voice of the unheard. I appreciate your service. RUSH: Thank you, sir, I appreciate that. I really do. CALLER: Yes, sir. You know, I have heard so many folks call in to your program here, and some of them have been upset because it sounds like you support Trump for a while and then...

Wednesday on his radio show, conservative talk Rush Limbaugh offered his analysis on Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump's rise, which he argued wasn't a sign that conservative orthodoxy was winning the day, but instead it was a pushback against the modern-day Democratic Party and President Barack Obama. And that according to Limbaugh is a sign of the rise of nationalism and populism overtaking conservatism. "What's happening here, nationalism, dirty word, ooh, people hate it, populism, even dirtier word," Limbaugh said. "Nationalism and populism have overtaken conservatism in terms of appeal. And when this has happened, when it exposes -- what...
