The Impossible Will Come Alive In 2005

In January of 2004, as we began to intercede for the New Year the Holy Spirit gave us the prophetic slogan, "The Seas will Roar in 2004".

This year we were given a new slogan, "The Impossible will come Alive in 2005". As the veil of darkness begins to come down over nations and regions, along with great shakings will come great breakthroughs; signs, wonders, healings and a spectacular release of miracles in impossible circumstances.

This year, although we are ultimately poised to gain much ground, there is a risk of losing much ground if we are not sensitive to the Holy Spirit on a day to day basis. We must journey through 2005 with alertness, seasons of prayer and fasting, and divine actions less many regions fall into devastating cataclysms. Some areas are at higher risk than others, and it is important that we send prophetic and apostolic teams to plant their feet on the soil of these regions, interceding for the land and seas at the right place, right time.

Among these areas of concern in 2005 are Alaska, the Canadian and U.S. West Coast, and the South Pacific. Several days ago while visiting the state of Alaska, we issued a call to prayer and fasting from Anchorage to the Aleutian Islands, and commissioned prophetic teams to walk around the 'walls' and intercede for the lands of the far north. I am now in California, preparing to return to Asia in a matter of days.

Of greatest concern this year is the South Pacific, where there is an immediate risk of a great quake which would dwarf the Sumatra quake in size, sending destructive tsunami across the Pacific as far away as Argentina and North America. This event can, and must, be averted for the sake of the islands of the sea, for they would be the hardest hit; the Philippines, Indonesia, Malaysia and Polynesia would be utterly devastated. The true purpose of the prophetic is not to foretell of disaster, but to blow the trumpet of warning so the events can be averted, or lessened in size, magnitude and impact.

I'm not a great fan of slogans in such matters. And, sometimes I think Timothy has more to learn about humility.

However, I think his heart is basically in the right place and that he sometimes seems to hear above average. I have felt a concern for the South Pacific for a long time. Am glad my aunt and uncle are not vulnerable to the big quakes any longer there as they have retired back to TX. I do have loved ones in NZ and off the South coast of Australia.

I do believe there are some significantly bigger quakes headed the globe's way--including in the general area of Indonesia and Sumatra AGAIN. I do believe that by the end of 2005, a much smaller percentage of people will believe that our era will continue as most others have.

It looks like we are going through the same problems that the pre- and post exilic Israel went through when, instead of listening to the prophetic word and turning from their sin and obeying God, they interpreted the prophetic word as an esoteric way out of their circumstances, either as a coming political messiah or a return to the glory days of the Davidic kingdom. When neither happened, even though they gave up their idolatry, they escaped into their apocalyptic mysteries, rather than accept the message of the prophets as a warning to return to the true God in spite of the circumstances as the judgment is coming sooner than you think.

Yup. God does not change. Neither does man - although we try to lie to ourselvews that we are better than those who came before us. One of the many reasons that nothing will pass from the Word, not a jot or tittle until all has been fulfilled.
