<p>Republican lawmakers are shaping their own plan for fixing the state's fiscal mess that takes a cue from the federal government, rolling over part of the state's massive budget deficit at least one year into the future.</p> <p>Senate Republican leader Jim Brulte plans to propose stretching the task of filling the state's current deficit over two years, along with a slate of other fiscal reforms, as part of a long-awaited GOP plan to address a $26 billion to $35 billion budget deficit.</p>
