Sen Joni Ernst, a Republican from Iowa, told DailyMail.com: 'We cannot allow any batty experiments of pandemic potential to be unleashed on our own shores. 'Americans have suffered enough from Fauci-funded risky research, which is why I am working to defund EcoHealth that funneled taxpayer dollars to the Chinese state-run Wuhan Lab. 'The world cannot afford another lab leak, especially one on U.S. soil or near our military bases.' The facility will be built on the CSU's Foothill Campus campus in Fort Collins, which is around 60miles north of Denver and has a population of around 168,000.

It’s almost — almost, given what we know about how the U.S. government function at what interests it actually serves (spoiler alert: it’ not yours) — unbelievable that this is a real news story at this late date in 2023, having gone through a years-long series of lockdowns and injection mandates and “died suddenly” post-vax deaths and all the rest. But here we are.Really? Peter Daszak is in charge of yet another NIH effort to “prevent” viruses from jumping from bats to people by putting infected bats and people in daily contact? It’s even worse than it looks—and it looks utterly...

On Sept. 21, 2016, two days after Hillary Clinton campaign attorney Michael Sussmann gave then-FBI General Counsel James Baker info about a supposed digital back channel between the Trump Organization and Moscow-based Alfa Bank, agent Joe PIENTKA texted colleague Curtis Heide: “People on 7th floor to include Director are fired up about this server.” Snip “Did you guys open a case? Reachout [sic] and put tools on?” Pientka asked. “If not I will call Dan as Priestap says its [sic] not an option – we must do it.” Later in the day, PIENTKA told Heide that a unit would be...

Authorities have located the woman they say picked up a live, potentially rabid bat from the floor of a South Jersey supermarket and took it home. The Elsinboro woman and her family went to The Memorial Hospital of Salem County late Wednesday to seek "medical consultation," according to Salem County Spokeswoman Brenda P. Banks. Authorities were aggressively searching for the woman because they feared because of the bat's erratic behavior, witnessed by many in the market, it could be rabid. Bats are nocturnal mammals and their appearance during daylight hours and erratic behavior can sometimes be a sign they are...

An Erie school district has bought hundreds of new baseball bats – and it’s not planning a massive expansion of any sports programs. The Millcreek Township School District outside Erie distributed the miniature bats to 500 teachers last week as part of a training program on how to deal with school shooters, the Pittsburgh Tribune reports. Superintendent William Hall says it cost the district around $1,800 to buy 600 16-inch baseball bats, including some that will be placed in offices and other common areas. Hall says the bats are to give teachers a chance to fight back as part of...

It is not unusual for President Obama and our allies to communicate on a regular basis, especially with the Turkish Prime Minister in regards to the ongoing situation in neighboring Syria, however the Turkish press and government are bewildered over a photo released by the White House of President Obama talking to the Prime Minister earlier this week: Maybe the President really likes baseball, or maybe he's trying to create the image of Teddy Roosevelt's famous "walk softly and carry a big stick" quote for the fall campaign, but either way it's a massive failure. Why do I say that?...

For a second, I could not believe my eyes. I saw a headline, or at least I thought I did, which went like this: "Pawlenty Questions Bachmann's Fitness." I rose out of my chair and exclaimed hallelujah, because here in the person of Tim Pawlenty, the former governor of Minnesota, was a Republican willing to say that Michele Bachmann was not qualified to be President; moreover, up to that very moment, not a single other Great Republican had been willing to say anything like this. But it was true, of course, it was true.

At a screening of a forthcoming HBO documentary honoring liberal journalist Helen Thomas in Washington, she was asked whether most White House reporters are liberal. "Hell, no!" she thundered. I'm dying to find another liberal to open their mouths. Where are they?" Is this Grande Dame of Journalism serious? The answer is yes. Since Ms. Thomas is dying to find vocal liberals in the news media, the least we can do is point her in the right direction. Let's see . . . • ABC's Claire Shipman says the taxpayers, not the politicians, should sacrifice to close the budget deficit:...

Cynthia Moss, a member of the Neuroscience and Cognitive Science program at the University of Maryland, College Park, Md., talks about how bats emit sounds and use echolocation to picture environments, cue memory and assist flight. Hillary Clinton should hang in there and run a good race. And she has vowed to do so.Clinton has been under unprecedented pressure to bow out of the divisive Democratic primary and to clear the field for her opponent -- Sen. Barack Obama of Illinois.Among those who want her to throw in the towel are, of course, Obama's supporters. But many other Democrats are trying to push her out of the contest on the ground that a contentious race can hurt the party and could help their Republican opponent, Sen. John McCain of Arizona.Clinton also has been deserted by some...

Meet the anti-war movement's newest folk hero: 69-year-old Rosemarie Jackowski, whose arrest during an anti-war protest has made her a cause celebre. A prosecutor's plan to retry her for blocking traffic while protesting the Iraq war is turning the feisty 4-foot-10 inch former schoolteacher into a darling of the dove crowd. Bloggers have rallied behind her, peace activists are deluging her with messages of support, and advocates have established a defense fund. "She's not a loony toon by any means," said Andrew Schoerke, 73, a retired U.S. Navy captain who was arrested with her. "She's a very down to earth,...

by Mark Finkelstein Is Neal Gabler jealous of Helen Thomas' status as a leading Bush media antagonist? You might think so, judging by the barbs Gabler aimed Thomas' way on this evening's Fox News Watch. In discussing Thomas' pointed exchange with President Bush during this past week's press conference, Gabler, whose sole regular media job would seem to be his weekly appearance on Fox News Watch, did claim that Thomas' question as to the president's motivation in invading Iraq was a good one. But Gabler prefaced that comment by gratuitously observing: "Helen has asked dumb questions in her time." Later,...

Jack Thompson, a Florida lawyer who became infamous in 1988 for accusing Janet Reno of being a closeted lesbian with a drinking problem and a strong candidate for blackmail, has recently been making waves with his crusade against the video game industry. Earlier this year, he launched a wrongful death lawsuit against Take Two Interactive and Rockstar Games, makers of the Grand Theft Auto series, claiming that the video game was directly responsible for 18 year-old Devin Moore's shooting of three police officers in 2003. Jack recently appeared on CBS's 60 Minutes trying to drum up support for his efforts....

A Glimpse Ahead Timothy Snodgrass The Impossible Will Come Alive In 2005 01/28/05 In January of 2004, as we began to intercede for the New Year the Holy Spirit gave us the prophetic slogan, "The Seas will Roar in 2004". This year we were given a new slogan, "The Impossible will come Alive in 2005". As the veil of darkness begins to come down over nations and regions, along with great shakings will come great breakthroughs; signs, wonders, healings and a spectacular release of miracles in impossible circumstances. This year, although we are ultimately poised to gain much ground, there...

Putin: Ally or Terrorist? by William F. Jasper Counting Vladimir Putin as an ally against terrorism ignores his career in the murderous KGB/FSB and his ongoing support for terrorist regimes and organizations. ‘‘Lena Goncharuk, aged 38, said that she was the only one to survive out of a group of six who were ordered out of the cellar where they had been hiding and shot at point blank range. Resting in her hospital bed, her voice barely rising above a whisper, she said she had survived only by pretending to be dead." So reported Paul Wood from the Chechen border...
