Local police arrested a woman who appears to be former liberal radio network Air America host Nicole Sandler while she was disrupting Rep. Allen West’s Tuesday town hall event in Fort Lauderdale and harassing the Congressman’s wife. According to video obtained by Florida blogger Javier Manjarres, known better online as The Shark Tank, police charged Sandler, who revealed her name on camera, with trespassing after they removed her from the event and she “continued her tirade and used an expletive to address a police officer.” With Air America now defunct, Sandler hosts a self-described “progressive talk radio” show at RadioOrNot.com....

A man who authorities said became upset when an airline crew refused to serve him alcohol, forcing a Los Angeles-bound flight to be diverted to Denver, appeared in court Friday to face a criminal charge of interference of a flight crew. Frederick Murphy, 59, of New Jersey was arrested at Denver International Airport Thursday night when Continental Flight 17 from Newark, New Jersey landed in Denver, the U.S. Attorney's Office said in a statement. WASHINGTON - A woman was charged Wednesday with sexual assault after an altercation with a flight attendant on an airplane flying from Charlotte, N.C., to London, an official said. Conan Bruce, a spokesman for the Federal Air Marshal Service in Washington, said the woman got into an argument with a male flight attendant aboard US Airways Flight 1494. "During the altercation, she grabbed his buttocks," Bruce said, adding that he based that information on police reports. Taking their cue from protesters in San Francisco, who shut down that city's financial district last week with a wave of raucous street blockades, marches, and sit-ins, activists in New York—including many from more mainstream groups—are calling for widespread civil disobedience in midtown Manhattan this Thursday.
