This poem is dedicated to those who suffer from Dementia or Alzheimer's and for family members who find themselves - forgotten. Mum has suffered from Alzheimer's for years and often doesn't not know who I am. If she does, she has no idea when I spoke to her or saw her last. For each week she declines, it's that little bit harder for us all who love her. Medication helps, and she has some good days... Dad lives in the same wing of a nursing home.
