Texas Democrats were already 1 million voters behind Republicans before the first ballot was cast in the 2024 election cycle, and for all the high hopes of finally catching lightning in a bottle Nov. 5, after a three-decade drought in statewide elections, those dreams had probably been dashed eight months earlier. That's the analysis of political consultant and data diver Derek Ryan, who plowed through demographics and past voting habits of 99.8% of the 11,340,202 Texans who cast a ballot for president. "The November election was probably decided back in March," Ryan said in an email blast to people who...

The actress confirmed that she relocated to Europe due to her work commitments. She explained her decision during a phone call to her friend Ana Navarro, who was appearing on the Behind The Table podcast. 'I didn't leave because of the political environment. I left because my work took me there,' Longoria, 49, said. 'I'm a proud American. I've always been a proud American. Proud Texan, proud American. I didn't want it to be taken that I left...

ROME — Conservative Bishop Joseph Strickland, who was ousted from his Texas diocese by Pope Francis in 2023, has rebuked his fellow U.S. bishops as “silent shepherds” for their failure to speak out against “false messages” coming out of the Vatican. In an open letter addressed to the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB) during their 2024 fall plenary assembly in Baltimore this week, Bishop Strickland repeatedly asks what it will take for the bishops to “finally speak up against the false messages constantly flowing from the Vatican under the leadership of Pope Francis”: Almost all of you “stood by...

Dallas police came to her salon several times allegedly responding to...

If you’ve ever wondered if the uniparty is real, just take a look at what your GOP Senators are up to in their spare time. Take RINO Senator John Cornyn, who’s been deeply involved in a left-wing “disinformation” group that uses the old Russia, Russia, Russia nonsense to run a so-called foreign disinformation department. Elon Musk suspects it’s actually a front to control social media behind the scenes, and he’s probably right. This group, called the Global Engagement Center, claims to work on exposing and stopping disinformation from foreign governments like Russia and China. Too bad no one’s stopping the...

On Wednesday’s broadcast of MSNBC’s “The ReidOut,” Gov. JB Pritzker (D) vowed to “do everything that I can to protect our undocumented immigrants.” But also stated that the state “had the problem of the very inhumane shipping of migrants” from Texas to Illinois. Pritzker said, “I want to be clear that there are certain circumstances in which the federal government and state governments should work together to allow deportation, an example would be somebody who’s been convicted of a violent crime. But they’re talking about rounding up people who are law-abiding undocumented immigrants in this country, many of whom are...

Paxton accuses Dr. M. Brett Cooper, an associate professor of pediatrics at UT Southwestern Medical Center who also practiced at Children's Medical Center Dallas, of prescribing various levels of testosterone cypionate to 15 patients between the ages of 14 and 17. Most patients listed in the lawsuit were between 16 and 17 years old. In the 34-page lawsuit filed in Collin County, Paxton calls Cooper a “scofflaw” and “radical gender activist” — a reprisal of similar labels he used in his first two lawsuits against Dr. May Lau of UT Southwestern and Dr. Hector Granados of El Paso. Paxton has...

U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers seized approximately 11,000 rounds of 7.62mm ammunition being smuggled into the United States from Mexico. CBP officers assigned to the El Paso port of entry on November 5 encountered a 2011 Honda Ridgeline arriving from Mexico. The officer directed the driver, a Mexican national, to a secondary inspection station after a “Low Energy Portal Scan” revealed possible anomalies. A K-9 search and a secondary Z-portal x-ray scan confirmed the anomalies. Officers began a physical search of the vehicle and discovered multiple plastic bags packed with loose 7.62 ammunition, according to a statement from CBP...

There is no doubt that President-elect Donald Trump has won a sweeping victory, becoming only the second U.S. president to be elected to a second, non-consecutive term in one of the most remarkable political comeback stories in American history. But his victory in the Electoral College would’ve been even bigger if two factors hadn’t cheated him out of the additional votes he should have received. Why do I say this? Because of the jarring errors the Census Bureau admitted it made in its population numbers for multiple states, and its unfair inclusion of aliens in the population used for congressional...

The room turns blood-red and then, the show concludes. Logan Vaden, the company’s founding artistic director, defended the production. “I made the choice in the last 30 seconds of our production to include the assassination attempt...

Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton submitted a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request to the Biden administration's Justice Department (DOJ) on Friday, demanding that it provide records relating to Special Counsel Jack Smith’s corruption investigation into President-elect Trump. In a release, the Republican AG alleged that former Special Counsel Robert Mueller, who led a team investigating Trump regarding a false Trump-Russia election collaboration, "destroyed records." "Past Special Counsels, including — notoriously — Robert Mueller, destroyed records at the end of their investigations to avoid accountability," Paxton said in a release. "It is not clear why nobody was prosecuted for doing...
