A Texas woman shot an armed man who was attempting to "force his way" into her home on Friday, according to local authorities.
The DeSoto Police Department said officers were dispatched to "an active disturbance" in the 400 block of Raintree Circle at around 7:54 p.m. on Friday after a female caller told dispatch an unknown man was in her backyard with a pistol.

This was pretty clearly self defense and probably would be in NY, NJ, etc. Maybe not in England. It wasn’t just a burglary. He followed her home, was breaking into the house, and he was armed. He was Spanished named incidentally.

The best weapon for a woman is one she can handle. The one she has practiced and become familiar with. I can’t handle my husband’s larger pistols. My hands are too small and my wrists are too weak so they are useless to me. The best pistol for a woman is the one in her hand when threatened. She did good.
She is safe and the thug is in the hospital in critical condition. Maybe what is needed is slower ambulances.

It did the job and she hit him twice.
I’d say she’s good, but it would have been difficult to prove that he wasn’t reaching for his weapon after the 2 hits to justify emptying into him a 2nd time.
That doesn’t take a larger caliber, but a cooler head.
People normally don’t like to think about violence; I do it regularly.

“Texas Woman” stopped the attack/invasion. She called the cops before she shot. She stopped the intruder and defended herself.
If I recall my Texas gun carry classes, and I do, a property crime after dark on your own property, is cleared for lethal force. Y’all boys don’t go bustin’ up mailboxes after dark, ya hear?
Other dipsticks around here will say she should have a .45 or a buffalo rifle and a tactical vest.

Could have just been unlucky - and medical science could have saved him before he bled out, with that response time. After all, there have been documented headshots with a 1911 in .45 that failed to kill, for example, though just like here they *did* stop the threat.

If Kamala had won, they would have brought this vigilante up on murder charges.
Her boyfriend would be rewarded with several $$millions for racial violence and he would be eligible for public financed trans surgery if he wanted it. If he chose to NOT get transgender surgery, he would be rewarded the cash equivalent in case he changes his mind later.
