It *might* mean the court is prepared to rule on the basis of the briefs that have been filed
If so, that likely means bad news for Willis

Holloway has been on top of this case from the beginning with very in-depth reporting and insights on the case.
If he thinks there is a decent chance they will rule on the merits and briefs, then he may be correct. The GA appeals court is pretty conservative and is not known for issuing “woke” opinions based on feelings. Of course, I was wrong about McAfee (and very disappointed).
We will see.
The judges in these big-city jurisdictions [Scott McAfee] are pretty much captives of the local Democrat Party machines.
I don’t know how it is now, but back in the 20th Century most Court of Appeals matters were decided on briefs.

One does wonder how this affects Mark Meadows and the other defendants.
