Nice.
A free speech warrior.
I cannot find the source of the rumor from New Yorker that Mitch said no recess appointments.
the tweet has been deleted that Mike Lee responded to. I wonder if this was a trial balloon. I just posted a video of Mitch at a Chamber of Commerce meeting. He is mentally cooked. Why are they even trotting him out at this point.

BREAKING: Former GOP Senate Leader Mitch McConnell Has Reportedly Sent A Message To President-Elect Trump Saying, “There Will Be No Recess Appointments.” According To
@NewYorker
The Odd Part Is McConnell Is No Longer Senate Majority Leader. That Belongs To
@SenJohnThune

🚨 ALERT RE: McConnell - something sketchy is going on.
This news of McConnell telling Trump “no recess appointments” has been DELETED by the D.C.-based New Yorker reporter….
AFTER a sitting US Senator (
@BasedMikeLee
) and basically the entirety of X got wind of the news.
It is a SEVERE F-up for a reporter with a news organization to somehow devise a quote up out of nowhere and attribute it to the wrong person. The event is reportedly in DC, and this reporter is based there.
Why delete it?
And NO retraction OR correction is listed on her account.
Was she given a command by a higher up because of the blowback?”

Yes, there will be.
I don’t see where Scott is saying clearly that there will be. What l do know is Thune said Thursday that the votes were not there to get a recess. This struck me as Thune getting cover for denying Trump again.
Until January 3rd, Chuck U Schumer is Senate Majority Leader.
Interesting how many LAWYERS he’s appointing to key positions.
Massive Butthurt ahead for so many that so richly deserve it!
There are Chamber of Commerce types who don’t like Trump.
This article goes very deep on the “recess” issue:

There is a hilarious loophole in the entire process.
If the Senate refuses to vote on a recess they can forced to recess by the President.
Crazy right?
How can the President do it?
The President has that power under one condition—the House must vote for the Senate recess.
That is correct—the Senate can say “no” but if the House says “yes” then the President gets to make the call.
File that one away—may be relevant or not....
The problem for President Trump and Chairman Carr is that unless one of the ‘Rat commissioners resigns, the GOP will be in the minority on the FCC until at least June 30, 2025 when current FCC chairwoman Jessica Rosenworcel’s term expires. The FCC chairman can be changed at will by the president, so Carr’s elevation to chairman will become effective as soon as Trump can sign the order on January 20.
While the chairman completely controls the FCC’s agenda and the employment of bureau chiefs, unless Rosenworcel leaves and is replaced by a GOPer, Carr won’t be able to do things like commence formal, trial-type hearings against the alphabet networks, as he won’t have 3 votes to do so.
but if the House says “yes” then the President gets to make the call.“
Pretty big if there brother.
