There is no doubt that President-elect Donald Trump has won a sweeping victory, becoming only the second U.S. president to be elected to a second, non-consecutive term in one of the most remarkable political comeback stories in American history. But his victory in the Electoral College would’ve been even bigger if two factors hadn’t cheated him out of the additional votes he should have received.
Why do I say this? Because of the jarring errors the Census Bureau admitted it made in its population numbers for multiple states, and its unfair inclusion of aliens in the population used for congressional apportionment. That inclusion dilutes the votes of U.S. citizens, distorting representation in the U.S. House of Representatives and in the Electoral College.
Let me explain.
First, the costly errors. In 2022, the Census Bureau issued a report in which it announced that a post-census survey revealed that its count was wrong in 14 states. It undercounted the populations of Arkansas, Florida, Illinois, Mississippi, Tennessee, and Texas, while overcounting the populations of Delaware, Hawaii, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New York, Ohio, Rhode Island, and Utah. The errors ranged from a low of 1.49% to a high of 6.79%.

It is also wrong to use the population of people, instead of the population of resident citizens in a state, to determine the number of representatives for that state.
“Errors”
This needs to be one of the things which needs addressed immediately.
Problem is, there are like 100 things that need addressed immediately!!
If the Communists didn’t cheat they would never win an election.
It is also wrong to use the population of people, instead of the population of resident citizens in a state, to determine the number of representatives for that state.
Of course there were errors.
They used these guys.

The movement of people to Red States will continue, come 2030 the number of Congressional Representatives and Electoral Votes will shift dramatically.
It’s critical to make sure Red States are represented properly, if you make up the mistakes from 2020 and the growth in Red States thru 2030, Red States could gain 5-10 or more Congressional seats and electoral votes.
But it wasn’t the slaves who benefited from it. The benefit of representation only went to the slave owners. There was no incentive for a legislator to serve a population that cannot vote, and the added representation was for the slave owners not for the slave. It was actually more harmful to the slave than if he hadn’t been “represented” at all. It was also an attack on the legal representation of those opposed to slavery because it used stolen representation to dilute the voting power of legal antislavery citizens.
Who has standing to sue to correct the count and apportionment?
This is why State and Local Elections matter. You hear me, Arizona?
“Mistakes were made”
Fix this cluster mess of a DemoRat corruptible election process.
It was a negotiated settlement with respect to a real issue between sovereign states.
Rewrite history much, p?
The broken census count also cheated the red states of members in the house of Representatives.
If the fjb administration were sued for all the irregularities there would not be enough courts or jurors to do the job.
I sure don’t understand it.
If the census is counting the number of people in the country, how can you have an overcount? I can understand an under count if some people got missed.
And I fail to understand how , when the error is discovered, the powers that be tell us nothing can be done to fix the error.
