Pinellas Pasco Judge Greer set October 15, 2003 at 2:00 p.m. for her feeding tube to be removed. There's something wrong with Florida's exit protocols and the way the courts handle new information re: criminality (misrepresentation, attempted murder, etc.) affecting a case. There was no living will, only the assertion of a very suspect, so-called husband, his brother, etc. that Terri would not want to live on life support. Terri is not on life support, she is not comatose or PVS and she is not living "artificially". She does get sustenance from a feeding tube but only because she has been denied rehabilitation by her so-called husband after he won a malpratice lawsuit three years after her collapse (cause unknown but probably due to strangulation or physical abuse, or both) which is why Terri needs an army of supporters to spread her story from coast to coast. Terri has retained rights that are being sidestepped because she is disabled and has been denied rehabilitation! The technologies of rehabilitation have greatly improved exponentially yet Judge Greer has not let Terri have a chance to learn to eat or to be able to learn to speak/communicate again. Also new information bearing on the case which shows criminality on husband's side has not been considered by the 2nd District Court of Appeals who handed down Mandate for termination of Terri's feeding based upon testimony of criminal husband and brother as above stated. Who is next?

The Attorney General is the constitutional, statewide elected official who serves as the attorney for the State of Florida. The Attorney General is responsible for the enforcement of state consumer protection and antitrust laws as well as civil prosecution of criminal racketeering. In the area of criminal law, the Attorney General represents the State when those convicted appeal their convictions, including capital murder cases.

According to the Florida Law Website it IS Crist's job to represent the state of Florida in this action, in the state's role as defendant.

The Solicitor General also monitors those cases in the Attorney General's Office which involve the constitutionality of a statute, interpretation of a constitutional provision, the functions of government, or other matter of great public interest. I called Ms. Melone and talked to her in a rational
but with a little emotion of how I was appalled at
her article, etc. and how I don't have an agenda but
that I am concerned for what is happening to Terri,
that her "husband" does not have her best interests
at heart, how the facts of the case bear out the
criminal nature of his acts, etc. She asked me if
the Judges in the case who have consistently ruled
for Mr. Schiavo could possibly be wrong. I said that
Mr. Greer is playing games and even got the Sheriff
to lie for him, etc. and has done other things that
indicate that he is not looking out for Terri's best interests. She said that you can call the editor etc.
and about the internet and I told her that I am
very active on the internet so I know what to do but
that I wanted her to know that I was appalled by what
she wrote and that perhaps she should take a look at
the facts of the case. She was saying she respects the judicial process. I just told her about Michael etc.
and how after the malpractice lawsuit 3 years later he just remembers after winning all the money that Terri wouldn't want to live on life support or "artificially"
to show that he obviously has criminal intentions. She asked then why the judges threw it out, etc. who presided over the proceedings, etc. Anywayz I ended telling her about getting the facts and that I just had to call to tell her how appalled I was.

Toward the end of the complaint, you will note that Michael Schiavo is listed as an agent of the State of Florida in his role as State-Appointed Guardian.

The court and Schiavo, as the death-petitioner, thus act jointly and in a symbiotic relationship which cloaks Schiavo with the authority of the state to terminate Terri's life.

I also said about even if there is a statute of limitations on certain of Michael's actions that that doesn't make it right what he is doing. Also that their is something wrong with the laws that would let this happen.

If you read Judge Lazzara's Order, which does not make Florida's AG a defendant, Judge Lazzara ordered that Crist may intervene. Thus, the daily radio releases from Crist's office that he hasn't decided yet if he will intervene or not. The word "may" leaves it up to Crist. I'll do more fact checking if this post doesn't clear things up.

Thanks so much, but I understand it. It's not my contention that Crist is a defendant, rather Michael Schiavo -- a state representative -- is. Crist's function, however, should he opt to do so, is not only investigatory but representational. IMO

Re: the comment about us having about 5 years to get out. I keep thinking of a certain actor who took up residency in a European country recently, and he and his wife consider themselves "lucky to have escaped", as he put it. I envy them, and I understand and sympathize with your particular situatuation, but I guess I'll have to stick it out a while longer., and contend. It's better for Terri if Crist does not intervene because of the shoddy exit protocols as they stand today. Here's the order which states that Crist "will be permitted". I hope he continues to stay out of it.

AG CRIST'S DEADLINE TO INTERVENE BY FILING IN J. LAZZARA'S COURT IS OCTOBER 6, 2003.

Accusations on this thread that Crist is "part" of the system to side with hubby are premature and imo, INCORRECT. Every single day, it's the same radio press release from his office: "AG Crist has not decided if he will intervene in the Schiavo matter". That tells me that he's getting flooded with emails and phone calls. He is speaking to the public through the airwaves.

I'm contacting them again.

See 554. I threw you a compliment and gave you part of the Order by Lazzara leaving it up to AG Crist to decide if he wants to jump in Terri's Fed. Case or not. Crist must file something by October 6, 2003 or he can do nothing if he so chooses.

Phone calls and emails to CRIST should continue. I'll be contacting them again as well as the Deputy AG. I guess we'll find out for sure whether they're public servants or bureaucrats on October 6, 2003.

You're welcome. We're fuming today about Mary Jo Melone's hit piece in the stpetetimes.com this morning. I called the Action Line, they make you leave your address so they can mail you a Complaint Form. I left my address and will be filling out a Complaint Form.

The final edit of the City & State section did not pick up the HATE SPEECH of Melone or make her change the UGLY TITLE. There's a difference between FREE SPEECH and HATE SPEECH and shouldn't a liberal newspaper know the difference? Liberal newspapers are hypocrites about political correctness IMO.

Crist is only in the Federal Case if he chooses to be in it. So far, he's taken a pass. Drobot stated that Crist was involved. He isn't involved at this time. He is permitted to intervene by 10-6-03.

Does that make sense? That is directly from Judge Lazzara's Order.

Please read, along with everyone else, the first paragraph of Judge Lazzara's 23 Sep "ORDER" and explain why you decided to omit that portion of the paragraph which speaks to the function AG Crist will/must play to defend the dastardly statutes enacted by the Death 'r Us state.
