Neighbors shared information and worked together to try to stop a stranger who they say followed a 12-year-old girl to a Southeast Portland porch, exposed himself and asked if she wanted to have sex as he cornered her. . . . Portland police arrived and arrested a 20-year-old man, Bill Glenn Fomonyuy, at 8:39 a.m. Monday on allegations of coercion, luring a minor and public indecency. Fomonyuy was booked into the Multnomah County Detention Center at 3:47 p.m. and released on his own recognizance four hours and 15 minutes later.

So because of the CDC mandate for landlords to NOT evict people... What happens if the person who is not paying their rent is a either service member, a military contractor or a government employee? 3rd text: "No Soldier shall, in time of peace be quartered in any house, without the consent of the Owner, nor in time of war, but in a manner to be prescribed by law." We are NOT at war.... Even if we were, the CDC edict is NOT lawful anyways (prescribed by law). and this is certainly WITHOUT THE CONSENT OF THE OWNER!

Bell himself has since confirmed the deal as well...four years, $52.5 million with $35 million guaranteed and the possibility to go up as high as $61 million with incentives. For the Jets, this is a pretty major win. They added a bona fide offensive playmaker to pair with their young star quarterback Sam Darnold, and Bell's ability to be a short-yardage passing weapon shouldn't be underrated when it comes to how he'll fit in Adam Gase's offense.

After listening to the disheartened Charlottesville, Virginian, Police Chief press conference a few minutes ago...now I know why Democrat, Governor, Terry McAuliffe looked like he had been sentenced to the electric chair on Saturday afternoon. IMHO, this cute little gig, set-up and planned by Democrat, McAuliffe and his buddy Mayor and assistant Mayor in Charlottesville did not go off as planned, because the police were setup to fail with the orders issued by the Governor and his two Mayors. Results, three people murdered, multiple people injured while extreme Right wing & Left wing nutcases tried to kill each other, uncontrolled...

As newly minted princess Kate Middleton greeted Michelle Obama in the ornate surroundings of Buckingham Palace Tuesday, it was hard to believe she was wearing a $340 dress from British retailer Reiss — a frock any commoner could buy. (snip) While Michelle Obama has also been applauded for wearing clothes from affordable stores such as J.Crew and H&M, she also favors big-name designers such as Jason Wu and Isabel Toledo. The floral Barbara Tfank dress she wore to meet Middleton this week cost at least $2,000.

While you continue punish your Country with illegal bans and regulations you enjoy the joys and festivities of Brazil with your family. He said that he was very disturbed with the video and invited him to the White House.. Obama also said he wanted the White House to handle the Press and not to talk about the video or the White House visit. That's interesting. Watch it now. The Democratic Party's attitude to elections is admirable: Win. And recent history has shown it will do anything to do so. When, if not now, will Republicans develop such a fighting spirit? Democrats invest - with taxpayer money, mind you - in groups like ACORN that, among other sordid tactics, seek out Skid Row bodies and wheel them to polling places. All the Democratic National Committee needs are vans and smelling salts. Pop culture and the "education system" have done the rest, making "D" the default choice on Election Day. Democrats brazenly take policy positions - think government services and...

Two federal studies add up the corn fuel's exorbitant cost. The Obama Administration is pushing a big expansion in ethanol, including a mandate to increase the share of the corn-based fuel required in gasoline to 15% from 10%. Apparently no one in the Administration has read a pair of new studies, one from its own EPA, that expose ethanol as a bad deal for consumers with little environmental benefit. The biofuels industry already receives a 45 cent tax credit for every gallon of ethanol produced, or about $3 billion a year. Meanwhile, import tariffs of 54 cents a gallon and...

LOS ANGELES — Even as he conceded there is still much hard work to do, President Obama was in a boastful mood Wednesday night, telling a star-studded crowd at a fundraising dinner that he "would put these first four months up against any prior administration since FDR." The president, speaking to a dinner that included Hollywood A-listers like Kiefer Sutherland, Marisa Tomei, Jamie Foxx, Ron Howard and Steven Spielberg, lauded the legislation he has signed since taking office but added that he is "not satisfied."

On Oct. 3, as the spreading economic meltdown threatened to topple financial behemoths like American International Group (AIG) and Bank of America and plunged global markets into free fall, the U.S. government responded with the largest bailout in American history. The Emergency Economic Stabilization Act of 2008, better known as the Troubled Asset Relief Program (TARP), authorized the use of $700 billion to stabilize the nation's failing financial systems and restore the flow of credit in the economy. The legislation's guidelines for crafting the rescue plan were clear: The TARP should protect home values and consumer savings, help citizens keep...

Even-Handed Idiocy By: P. David Hornik FrontPageMagazine.com | Thursday, May 21, 2009 A mist of verbiage arises from the reports on Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu’s meetings with President Barack Obama and other officials in Washington. Stock words and phrases are used ritualistically that may have little connection to realities on the ground in Israel and the region. Among the more mindlessly repeated and least reality-linked are “two-state solution” and “regional peace.” 1. “Two-state solution.” At present, in the territory between the Jordan River and the Mediterranean Sea, three political entities already exist. One, Israel, is sovereign except for its partial or...

President Obama's plan to move quickly to replace fossil fuels with renewable energy sources relies on technology that analysts agree is neither affordable nor available on a commercial scale and won't be for many years to come. Expensive, small-scale pilot projects are under way that convert vegetation into fuel for cars and capture carbon dioxide before it is released into the air from coal-burning power plants. But these prototypes have not been proved at levels that would make even a dent in the U.S. appetite for fossil fuels, casting doubt on the viability of the president's plans. Still, the administration...

A major Issue where John McCain lost support of the American People was Immigration reform. The year before he ran for president, he worked with Ted Kennedy and President Bush to develop a comprehensive immigration bill that included just about everything except protecting our borders. The bill failed miserably because Americans on both sides of the aisle because Americans wanted their government to secure the US borders before they addressed any other issues. ...The president and his allies have decided that man-made carbon dioxide is a witch's brew that's killing the planet, and they think that just because the cap-and-trade cure stings doesn't mean we shouldn't have to swallow it. Their solution is embodied in the Henry A. Waxman-Edward J. Markey global warming legislation...Its proponents call it "back to the future." They're not kidding, either........you can test drive Waxman-Markey by sailing down to Haiti, because current CO2 emissions are where Waxman-Markey wants America's to be in 2050. Radical environmentalists think such a CO2 level will be heaven on Earth, but the place that...
