I love it. No discussion of actual “human rights”, but instead a plea for unnecessary, undesirable CO2 reduction.
The cry for “cap and tax” and other expensive and unrealistic measures is reaching a crescendo, as the alarmists realize that the climate is cooling and they don’t have much time before people completely wise up.
Nance, here’s what we SHOULD be doing: drilling for oil & gas, mining coal, and building more nuclear plants. Those three sources will do the heavy energy lifting in our country for the next twenty years at least. It’s up to you how much you’re willing to shift to zero-carbon nuclear.

All I can tell you is that if an omnipotent force came along and vaporized old Nance into her constituent atoms, and then every carbon atom was made into CO2, it would be a huge net win for the environment, our country, and the world. Some people are much worse than a simple waste of oxygen.
