Police said an army bomb disposal team had been sent to Birmingham's Lee Bank area as a "precautionary measure" as a result of one of the arrests. Two men, aged 32 and 37, were arrested in the Stoke area of Staffordshire. The other three men, aged 18, 24 and 28, were arrested in Birmingham. Four men from Birmingham have been charged with terrorism offences and will appear in a London court. Khobaib Hussain, Ishaaq Hussain and Shahid Kasam Khan, all 19, and Naweed Mahmood Ali, 24, were last night charged with fundraising for terrorist purposes and of travelling to Pakistan for terrorist training. An elderly couple have been arrested on suspicion of killing their daughter who died after two decades battling an extreme form of Obsessive Compulsive Disorder. Ken and Marion Hancox, who are both in ill health, have spent eight months under suspicion of the manslaughter of their housebound daughter, Samantha, a former law student.
