Police have come under fire for asking homeowners whether they were gay or bisexual—in a Neighborhood Watch survey.
The questionnaire by West Midlands Police asked residents in Birmingham questions about their sexual orientation so they could help officers “detect crime and antisocial behavior.”
The force claim that by asking whether people were straight, gay or bisexual it would help them decide where certain information about police initiatives should be best sent.
But residents and politicians in the city have accused the police of being too politically correct. …

In this country we just ask profession. Interior Designer or someone in Graphic Arts (LOL) means one thing - Welder or Plumber means quite another. For women, it’s easy too - just ask if they played high school or college women’s sports.
