The fourth victim who died when a plane built from a kit crashed in California has been identified as the son of a Zoom executive. Isaac Zimmern, 27, was with his long-time girlfriend Emma Wilmer-Shiles when they boarded the homemade aircraft piloted by their friend, Lochie Ferrier, who also died in the crash last week along with his fiancee, Cassidy Petit. Zimmern is the son of Johann Zimmern, 59, the head of Global Education Marketing at Zoom who lives in San Francisco’s Sunnyside neighborhood in a $1.1 million home, the International Business Times reports. The younger Zimmern was also living...

MOSCOW, Oct 3 (Reuters) - Russia's communications watchdog plans to block Virtual Private Networks (VPNs) from March 1 next year, a Russian senator for the ruling United Russia party said on Tuesday. Demand for VPN services soared after Russia restricted access to some Western social media after President Vladimir Putin ordered troops into Ukraine in February 2022. Senator Artem Sheikin said an order from the Roskomnadzor watchdog would come into force on March 1 that would block VPNs. "From March 1, 2024, an order will come into force to block VPN services providing access to sites banned in Russia," Sheikin...

Democrats were quick to gloat over former President Trump’s arrest at the Fulton County, Ga., Jail on Thursday night and the release of his history-making mug shot. The only mug shot ever taken of a current or former president quickly ricocheted around the world — and around X, the platform previously known as Twitter. House Judiciary Democrats shared the mug shot with the caption, “No one is above the law.” Despite having been arraigned on three prior indictments, the mug shot taken of Trump on Thursday in Georgia was his first. Rep. Jamaal Bowman (D-N.Y.) shared a video of him...

"When they aren’t locking us down, making us mask, taking our jobs, forcing shots into us (via coercion and threats*), grooming our kids, pushing us to switch to a bug based diet, or any of their other hobbies the left are pretty nice for demons. Manhattan DA Alvin Bragg charged a bodega worker with murder when he clearly acted in self defense. 51-year-old Jose Alba stabbed his attacker several times in self-defense and now he’s at Rikers Island jail facing a murder charge. Alba fatally stabbed Austin Simon, 35, a career criminal who violently attacked him behind the counter last Friday night. According to reports, Austin Simon’s girlfriend got into an argument with Alba after her EBT card was declined when she tried to purchase a bag of chips. The disgruntled woman then left the bodega, ran home and returned with her boyfriend – and...

Myself and four of my friends recently returned from Las Vegas after a golf/guys trip. We left from Austin on Thursday the 16th and returned on Sunday the 19th. One of the guys, the one I shared a room with was not feeling great on Sunday when we were heading back to Austin. I attributed it to a hangover, but on Monday, he sent out a text to the group that he had Covid. After getting that news, we all took tests and only one other guy tested positive. On Thursday another started feeling bad and he retested positive. The...

The California Highway Patrol (CHP) refused on Thursday to release the body cam footage of Paul Pelosi’s DUI arrest because it could “jeopardize” the investigation. “The Public Records Unit (PRU) has determined the Department possesses records responsive to your request,” the CHP said in response to a query from Fox News. “However, the Napa County District Attorney’s Office has advised the release of records would jeopardize an ongoing investigation. As such, records are being withheld pursuant to Government Code section 6254 (f).”

COVID is causing a great fright but it's not the one you think. I am beginning to think that the media does not, under any circumstances, want the pandemic to end and neither does Anthony Fauci. COVID is not something to be trivialized but news outlets are competing with one another to see who can gin COVID up the most and create the biggest panic. To wit: Covid-19 surge is 'unprecedented' (msn.com)The new year is starting with a massive influx of Covid-19 that's different from any other during this pandemic, doctors say. "We're seeing a surge in patients again, unprecedented...

The debate is over. After a year investigating claims of election fraud the media has determined that any fraud in the 2020 election was far too small to have changed the outcome and Joe Biden legitimately won. Now we can get back to our normal lives, or whatever passes for normal now… Except it’s fiction. In 44 BC Julius Caesar was murdered by Roman senators who claimed to be acting to protect the Republic but were in fact, simply seeking power. Their coup d'état put the final nail in the coffin of a Republic that had been dead in deed...

Inflation is skyrocketing, so let’s make matters worse! That seems to be the logic behind the “price controls” New York Magazine is promoting as a serious idea to fight off inflation. In a piece headlined, “Who’s Afraid of Price Controls?,” author Eric Levitz made the argument that the “widespread tendency to dismiss price controls of any kind as economically illiterate, while defending interest-rate hikes as economically wise, reflects custom more than reason.” But Levitz spent a major portion of his argument undercutting himself. He noted that a similar case made recently in The Guardian was considered “tantamount to a declaration...

An elitist economist is insulting his readers by doubling down on the much-criticized notion that spiking inflation is only “transitory.” Princeton University professor Alan Blinder penned an absurd Wall Street Journal op-ed headlined, “When It Comes to Inflation, I’m Still on Team Transitory.” Blinder even conceded in his subheadline that “transitory” apologist Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell “may have retired the term," but proceeded to claim that "bottlenecks and shortages should be over soon.” This was the same Blinder who wrote an equally absurd March 15 op-ed headlined: “There’s No Need to Panic About a Little Inflation.” Another Blinder piece...

A female Delta passenger was arrested by the FBI after she was captured attacking an elderly man on a flight for not wearing a mask - even though she wasn't wearing one either. Patricia Cornwall was on a Thursday flight from Tampa to Atlanta when the altercation took place, after she took exception to her 80 year-old male target taking off the face covering to eat and drink while at his seat. The pair exchanged a volley of foul-mouthed insults, which ultimately descended into physical violence, with at least one crew member and multiple other passengers reportedly injured while trying...
