Ford has announced a recall of over 250,000 vehicles over a potential issue that could make their brakes defective. Ford announced in a filing to the National Highway Traffic Administration that it would be recalling 273,800 Expedition and Lincoln Navigator SUVs due to braking issues. The report stated, “SUVs’ front brake lines “may be in contact with the engine air cleaner outlet pipe,” causing possible brake defects. “A brake line leak may cause longer-than-expected brake pedal travel and result in a reduction in the rate of deceleration,” added Ford. Seven people are dead in Brownsville, Texas, after a car ran into pedestrians Sunday morning. The crash occurred at 8:30 a.m. near the Ozanam Center in Brownsville, a representative from the Brownsville Police Department told ABC News. MIAMI-DADE COUNTY— A woman was killed by her own SUV Thursday night after she left it in reverse in a central Miami-Dade parking garage and the vehicle slammed into her, according to Miami-Dade police. About 6:20 p.m., the woman began to pull out of a parking space at Burger King's corporate headquarters, 5505 Blue Lagoon Dr., police said. While backing out, she hit a vehicle next to hers.
