Shocking video captured the moment a 3-year-old Florida girl shot herself with a handgun — while a relative celebrated a football touchdown on TV. The chilling footage posted by WPLG shows Serenity picking up the pistol at her home in Miami Dade on Saturday after Orlando Young, 23, jumped up during the game. A bang is immediately heard in the footage and the toddler is hurt. “It looks as if she is getting ready to pick up the gun, the gun went off and I guess the bullet went through her finger,” Serenity’s grandmother, Robin Fuller, told the outlet. “The...

Police said three people were shot while standing on the sidewalk in the 9100-block of South Harper Avenue...

New Jersey’s latest round of tougher gun laws faced a setback on Tuesday, as a federal judge blocked the state from enforcing much of its ban on concealed carry in "sensitive" public places. U.S. District Judge Renee Maria Bumb, appointed to the bench by President George W. Bush, found the state’s attempt to restrict legal gun owners from carrying firearms at roughly two dozen public spaces to be unconstitutional — for all but playgrounds and youth sporting events, on the grounds that it interfered with Second Amendment rights. “The State has failed to offer any evidence that law-abiding responsible citizens...

A 20-year-old woman was shot dead by an upstate New York homeowner Saturday night after the driver of the car she was riding in turned into the wrong driveway, authorities said. Kaylin Gillis, from Saratoga County, was inside the vehicle with three pals when they made a wrong turn into a driveway while searching for a friend’s house in the town of Hebron, the Washington County Sheriff’s Office said. As the driver of the car was leaving, Kevin Monahan, the owner of the home the group accidentally pulled up to, allegedly fired two shots from his patio at the vehicle,...

The two boys arrested on charges of murdering three teenagers in central Florida robbed a man at gunpoint, hours before their victims were found shot dead, police said. Robert Robinson, 17, and 12-year-old Christopher Atkins had arranged to meet a man and sell him a gun for $240 on the evening of March 30. They drove up to his house shortly after 7pm, and the prospective buyer got inside their vehicle. The gun was placed on the buyer's lap who then took $240 from his pocket. The weapon was snatched back by one of the boys: Robinson pistol-whipped the man,...

Nearly one in five adults in the US say they have a relative who was killed by a gun, a disturbing new study revealed Tuesday. The troubling statistic included death by suicide, according to the report from the Kaiser Family Foundation. A similar amount – 21 percent – of respondents said they had been personally threatened with a gun. The study also found that people of color were disproportionately impacted by gun violence, with three in 10 black adults and one-fifth of Hispanic respondents saying they have witnessed someone being shot. Thirty-four percent of black adults reported having a family...

A third suspect was arrested on Saturday in connection with the 'gang related' murders of three teenagers which shook Florida last week. Police vowed to find Tahj Brewton, 16, after his suspected accomplices Christopher Atkins, 12, and Robert Robinson, 17, were arrested on Friday in connection with the slayings outside Ocklawaha. The US Marshals teamed up with the Lake County Sheriff's Office to help capture Brewton after Layla Silvernail, 16, Camille Quarles, 16, and an unidentified 17-year-old boy were found shot dead and discovered over three days dumped in separate places within a 5-mile radius. Brewton was arrested on several...

Instead of speaking out in support of Christians following the attack, the people who run the White House, Congress, state governments, top corporations, and the entertainment industry responded to the tragic deaths by offering solidarity with trans-identifying Americans like the Nashville shooter.

Colion Noir makes it plain, that gun-control legislation would not have stopped the murder of children and staff at Nashville Christian School.

Investigators say the suspect's parents felt the 28-year-old should not own weapons, and did not realise the guns had been concealed in their house. Six people, including three children age nine, were killed in the attack at the Covenant School. The suspect was under "doctor's care for an emotional disorder", police say. Tennessee has no laws that allow police to seize guns from violent suspects. Despite the absence of such so-called red-flag laws, police said they would still have sought to have the weapons confiscated if authorities had had any warning that the suspect could have posed a threat.

No sooner had word emerged that a Nashville Christian school had been attacked by a mass shooter on Monday than the Left began dissembling about guns again. The shift from “thoughts and prayers” to “grab the guns from law-abiding gun owners!” occurred at hypersonic speed. And it was all wrong. To save time, here’s a simple request by people who believe in the right to bear arms, which is explicitly guaranteed in the United States Constitution and is a God-given right. Stop lying. Try. It’s not that hard, and someone’s life depends on it. First, let’s acknowledge that gender dysphoria...

Hallie Scruggs is a name I won't forget. I'll forget the name of the shooter quickly – just another person consumed by the evil of the human heart, bent on wanton destruction. But not Hallie's name. From the NY Post: Among the six victims shot and killed inside a private Christian school in Nashville on Monday was the young daughter of a local pastor, according to reports. Hallie Scruggs, one of three children slain in the sickening school shooting, was the 9-year-old child of Chad Scruggs, the senior pastor at Covenant Presbyterian Church, the church confirmed to CBS News. The...

While speaking to the National Association of Counties Tuesday, President Biden pushed for more gun control and said there is “no rationale…for magazines that hold 50, 70 bullets.” He did not say what he believes to be a rational magazine capacity nor did he note whether 70-round magazines exist. Biden said, “I’m going to say something that’s always controversial, but there is no rationale for assault weapons and magazines that hold 50, 70 bullets.”

The Illinois House passed a modified ban on high-powered weapons and large-capacity magazines early Friday. The assault weapons legislation quickly advanced to the full House and after late-night debate passed on a 64-43 vote. The bill would ban the manufacture, sale and possession of dozens of firearms defined by the state as assault weapons. The Protect Illinois Communities Act was created in response to the Highland Park mass shooting. The bill would immediately end the sale of assault weapons and would allow FOID card endorsement of legacy weapons with a 300-day grace period. Active-duty and qualifying retired law enforcement would...
