It took less than 33 hours to identify and arrest the man suspected of shooting and killing conservative commentator Charlie Kirk at a Utah Valley University event on Wednesday (September 10). The news traveled quickly — not just through traditional media channels, but across the virtual corridors of Twitter, where an entirely different story was unfolding. The suspect’s name is Tyler Robinson. He’s 22 years old. A local. A gun owner. A practicing Christian. A self-identified conservative and registered Republican. And in the eyes of the internet, particularly the progressive left, his identity was the story.

I'm pretty sure there's no evidence to support this claim. And a large body of evidence to refute it. Starting with "practicing Christian". Anyone who practices Christianity does not lie in wait as a sniper to murder someone.

Uh, the parents dressed him up in a “riding trump” outfit with his little brother dressed up as a hunter for Halloween in 2017. Parents probably arent republican. Father is also a unitarian minister.

Charlie believed in Jesus. WAS he Jesus?! NO. No one is. No conservative is perfect. He said things that made even me cringe plenty of times.
But I’ve cringed even more reading through the Bible, and all the foibles of the people of God therein. Flash forward to Saint Augustine’s confessions and the like, there are many great people who had messy paths aplenty on their way to the Truth.
We are all sinners. MAGA Republicans. Trans. Rich. Poor. Whatever. We will all face our maker, white, brown, blue or otherwise. All that matters in the end is Jesus. period.
And that’s my main takeaway from Charlie’s death.
How shameful, not to mention lame to hide behind identity politics, which the Democrat Party again is responsible for creating to begin with.
