On today's Morning Joe, Joe Scarborough, speaking of the shooting death of anti-ICE protester Alex Pretti, Scarborough said:

"Many people were describing [it] as an execution-style shooting."

Joe, if you want to accuse ICE of the execution-style shooting of Alex Pretti, have the decency and guts to say so yourself, instead of putting it in the mouths of "many people."

The bare minimum that journalistic integrity required was to name names of some of those "many people." But you failed to clear even that low bar. Shame on you.

Joe wishes it was an ‘Execution-Style Shooting’ - because that would showcase liberals as ‘victims’. They are not the victims.

If some armed guy with rage in his eyes and extra rounds for his gun walked onto Joe’s and Mika’s TV set and security tried to take the armed man down.... and and and...

Many people also believe the law enforcement officer had to good reason to believe Pretti was reaching for a weapon. They also understand that in a situation like this the officer has seconds to decide to either a) shoot until the threat is gone, or b) hope for the best but maybe get shot and die.

This will go through an investigation process a tad more meticulous than far leftist Mika and Joe would ever consider. A lot more detailed of an investigation that some yahoo (like me) can or will do.

That said, my bet is that the officer will be found having acted appropriately.
