Grand Blanc is an upscale town (for the Flint Area). It is about 7-9 miles due south of downtown Flint.
Lots of GM engineers live in Flint.

Dearborn to Grand Blanc is over an hour's drive. There is a mosque on Baldwin Road, close by.
But let's not make assumptions - right now sadly the list of attack-happy groups is not a small one.

I agree with you, but it’s a MUCH, MUCH deeper issue than that.
In theory, by the same token, conservatives should have been incited into committing violent actions when Trump was shot at twice and especially when Charlie Kirk was murdered. WE DID NOT.
What’s going on is severe mental illness or simple communist tactics being played out. Similar tactics used by communists in Vietnam (Yes folks, Vietnam is communist), Korea, Pre-commie China and the USSR to name the common ones.
I’m willing to bet the players in this tragedy are not lone wolves.
