The FBI on Saturday arrested a pawnshop owner on a weapons charge after investigators said they found a note with his phone number and business address on one of the shooters in the deadly attack at a kosher market in Jersey City last week. Searches of Ahmed A-Hady’s home and store in Keyport, N.J., turned up a cache of ammunition and guns, including three “AR-15-style assault rifles” similar to one of the weapons used in the attack, according to a criminal complaint filed in federal court. Officials did not definitively link A-Hady to the shooting but said the searches were...

The nation watched in shock on Tuesday as David Anderson, 47, and his girlfriend Francine Graham, 50 entered a Jewish food store in Jersey City and killed three civilians during a hostage/shootout situation that lasted several hours and shut down part of the city. Anderson and Graham, who are now dead, are also believed to have ambushed Jersey City detective Joseph Seals, and there’s evidence they are connected to the murder of an Uber driver in neighboring Bayonne, New Jersey. It turns out that, according to the New Jersey Department of Corrections records, Anderson was charged with weapons offenses in...

Rep. Rashida Tlaib, D-Mich., received a flurry of attention on Thursday after she tweeted that "white supremacy" was behind the Jersey City shooting that left multiple people dead. "This is heartbreaking. White supremacy kills," Tlaib said in the since-deleted message that linked to a tweet by progressive Jewish group IfNotNow that memorialized the victims of Tuesday's shooting at a kosher supermarket. According to the New York Times, one of the suspects had a connection to the Black Hebrew Israelites, many of whom subscribe to an extreme set of anti-Semitic beliefs. Those followers view themselves as the true “chosen people” and...

St. Paul, Minnesota is 66 percent white. It’s 13 percent black. And yet violent crime, just as is documented in every American citizen, has a well-known racial bias. The descendants of Scandinavians aren’t killing one another drug deals or social media beefs; those primarily descended from Africans have a strange proclivity to engaging in the opposite behavior of Scandinavians, though. Remember, despite being only 13 percent of St. Paul’s population, blacks are doing everything they can to betray the city’s slogan of America’s “most livable city.”[As 2019 closes, St. Paul’s homicide rate doubles last year’s: Police understand why, but solutions...

Today we are faced with the possible destruction of our God given and constitutionally protected rights in the Commonwealth of Virginia. But we are not going to back down, we are not going to quietly submit, and instead fight back using every means at our disposal. The Virginia State Constitution provides a means to recall an elected official, even the Governor, for a trial in the Circuit Court, determining if the official has violated their oath of office. The Virginia State Constitution is very clear, in Article 13 it states- ‘That a well regulated militia, composed of the body of...

While several of Virginia’s congresscritters are calling for Second Amendment Sanctuary counties in the state to be stripped of state funds or to have the National Guard brought in to enforce new gun control laws, Virginia Governor Ralph Northam is instead offering veiled threats of “consequences” for sheriffs in Second Amendment Sanctuary counties unless they enforce whatever gun control bills he signs into law. When asked by a reporter if local governments would face retaliation for declaring themselves Second Amendment sanctuaries, Northam responded, “There’s not going to be retaliation. That’s not what I’m about. I’m about making Virginia safer.” Northam...

On Thursday, the Trump administration will host the White House Summit on Child Care and Paid Leave, convening lawmakers, local officials, parents, and industry leaders to discuss paid family leave and affordable childcare – issues vitally important to the lifeblood of the U.S. economy and the betterment of the American family. The summit, spearheaded by Senior Adviser Ivanka Trump, is yet another example of President Trump’s advocacy for working families and further underscores that the Republican Party is now the party of working families. For example, long thought to be an issue owned by the left, it is now the GOP...

Hannie Schaft and Freddie Oversteegen (right) used good looks and flirtatious ruses to coax Nazis out of Dutch bars and to their deaths -- at times pulling the triggers themselves. Truus Oversteegen (pictured with rifle) worked along side Hannie and Freddie. When she came across a Nazi killing an infant by repeatedly swinging its tiny body against a brick wall, Truus Oversteegen didnÂ’t flinch. The freckle-faced teenager, who was just three months shy of her 17th birthday when Germany invaded the Netherlands in May 1940, was a newly minted member of the Dutch resistance. She had been mostly assigned to...

Rochester resident Randall Tarr, 64, was charged with communicating threats to injure a person and threatening to assault, kidnap, or murder a federal official. The charges stem from a Nov. 25 phone call to Republican Rep. Rodney Davis’s office. According to court documents, Tarr became enraged after seeing one of the three-term congressman’s commercials. Investigators said he left a voicemail on Davis’s office phone. “You backing the Russians, boy?” Tarr said. “What’s wrong with you? Are you … so f---ing stupid? I was in the military for eight years, and you son of a bitch, are backing the Russians over...

Former Attorney General Eric Holder claimed his successor William Barr was “unfit” to continue in his post as head of the Department of Justice. Holder, who served as attorney general under President Barack Obama, wrote an op-ed in the Washington Post where he said he was “reluctant to publicly criticize” President Trump’s attorney general but felt the need to speak out after Barr issued public statements about disagreements he had with Inspector General Michael Horowitz’s report on alleged FISA abuse. He also criticized Barr’s remarks from a Federalist Society event where he said the founders intended for one man to...

The Virginia National Guard on Friday responded to a Democratic lawmaker after he suggested that it may be needed to enforce new gun legislation. The remarks from Rep. A. Donald McEachin (D-Va.) suggesting that Gov. Ralph Northam (D) “may have to nationalize the National Guard to enforce the law” comes as dozens of counties across Virginia have declared themselves “Second Amendment sanctuaries” after Democrats took over the state legislature last election. "We have received multiple questions regarding proposed legislation for the 2020 General Assembly session and the authority of the Governor of Virginia to employ the Virginia National Guard in...

Los Angeles officials enact ordinance requiring all prospective city contractors to disclose contracts with or sponsorship of the National Rifle Association. A violation of the NRA's and a would-be contractor's speech and association rights? District court: Indeed so. The text, legislative history, and comments the ordinance's sponsor made on Twitter "evince a strong intent to suppress the speech of the NRA," and its clear purpose "is to undermine the NRA's explicitly political speech." That's a First Amendment no-no. https://ij.org/wp-content/uploads/2019/12/gov.uscourts.cacd_.744044.34.0.pdf

Donald Trump – Second Amendment One of the promises President Trump made in 2015 interview with AmmoLand News, is he would review the policy of keeping service members disarmed on our military bases and recruiting centers. “As Commander-in-Chief, I would mandate that soldiers remain armed and on alert at our military bases. President Clinton never should have passed a ban on soldiers being able to protect themselves on bases. America’s Armed Forces will be armed. They will be able to defend themselves against terrorists. Our brave soldiers should not be at risk because of policy created by civilian leadership. Political...

Today is December 13th and it’s Ted Nugent’s Birthday! The Nuge. Uncle Ted. Great Gonzo. The Motor City Madman. He goes by many names, but the one-and-only Ted Nugent is most well known as a conservative rock-and-roller who speaks his mind just as easily as he plays the guitar. He’s one of those “only in America” stories like many other right-wing rockers (Elvis Presley, Gene Simmons and Johnny Ramone are just some of the more obvious and awesome examples). For a full profile on political activist and gun advocate Ted Nugent, check out our full article on him and let...

Democratic lawmakers on Capitol Hill say local police who do not enforce gun control measures likely to pass in Virginia should face prosecution and even threats of the National Guard. After November's Virginia Legislature elections that led to Democrats taking control of both chambers, the gun control legislation proposed by some Democrats moved forward, including universal background checks, an “assault weapons” ban, and a red flag law. Legal firearm owners in the state, however, joined with their sheriffs to form Second Amendment sanctuary counties, which declare the authorities in these municipalities uphold the Second Amendment in the face of any...

A Virginia sheriff has vowed to deputize residents in his county if the new Democratic-led legislature enacts gun control measures. Culpeper County Sheriff Scott Jenkins made the vow during a Board of Supervisors meeting last week in which the panel unanimously agreed to declare the county a Second Amendment Constitutional County. “Every Sheriff and Commonwealth Attorney in Virginia will see the consequences if our General Assembly passes further unnecessary gun restrictions,” Jenkins wrote on Facebook before the meeting. “I plan to properly screen and deputize thousands of our law-abiding citizens to protect their constitutional right to own firearms,” he added....

Gov. Ralph Northam (D) announced Monday his “assault weapons” ban will mean AR-15 owners can either register their guns with the government or hand them over. The Virginia Mercury reported Northam spokeswoman Alena Yarmosky used a statement to say, “The governor’s assault weapons ban will include a grandfather clause for individuals who already own assault weapons, with the requirement they register their weapons before the end of a designated grace period.” Yarmosky made clear details on other gun controls will be made known before the start of the 2020 session in which Democrats take charge.

As a result of a number of proposed anti-gun bills in Virginia, many of its cities and counties have declared themselves Second Amendment sanctuaries. However, one county went above and beyond by passing a Militia Resolution. This resolution codifies the establishment and maintenance of a de facto militia in Tazewell county. Firearms News reached out to the Tazewell councilman Thomas Lester, who is also a professor of American History and Political Science. Lester argued, “Declaring our county a Second Amendment Sanctuary is a great first step, however, Virginia is unique because of its constitution. Under Article 1 section 13 of...
