Trump hit the network in multiple Truth Social posts, attacking Fox’s polls as “always the worst”; mocking some recent softness in the network’s year-over-year ratings trends and accusing Fox of being “AGAINST” him. Just before midnight, Trump directly placed blame on Fox News for the Republican party’s failure to hold on to the US House and Senate, writing that “FoxNews bears responsibility for these losses by constantly and consistently putting on the Dumocrat opposition, and worse.” Trump then called into Fox’s election coverage around midnight and directly criticized the network’s polls as “terrible,” telling the network’s employees: “You ought to...

It was bad, but it could have been worse and, as always, there are lessons we can take from it. n 2022, Republicans thought there would be a Red Tsunami. In fact, there was a Red piddle that didn’t even rise to the level of a puddle. But yesterday, Democrats got that Tsunami. They flipped both the Senate and the House and did so massively. According to The New York Times, Democrats currently have 54-44 control of the Senate and 228-139 control of the House. Both numbers could improve for Democrats in the next days and hours. That’s not a...

Trump: “I wasn’t on the Ballot and if I was, we would have won IN A LANDSLIDE!”

President Donald Trump said Tuesday he would accept the results of US midterm elections -- but quickly sought to shift the blame for the historic rout to his fellow Republicans. Time and again on the campaign trail the 80-year-old told Republicans to "pretend I'm on the ballot." That may have been exactly the problem, as voters put Democrats in control of the House and Senate. But Trump has never been one to take the blame, and in his first reaction to the election results Tuesday he insisted that the Republican Party would have won in a "landslide" if he had...

Democrats stormed to victory in the Senate on Tuesday, delivering a devastating loss for Republicans that once seemed improbable just a few months ago. In a dramatic blue tsunami, Democrats racked up shocking wins in deep red states, including Iowa, Ohio, Kansas, South Carolina, and Texas — in a massive rebuke of President Trump and GOP control of government.

Democratic candidates won races in Republican strongholds, flipping Senate seats in Kansas, Ohio, North Carolina, South Carolina and even Texas. On a night shaping up as a Democratic romp, President Trump told The New York Times that he would accept the election results. Democrats seized control of the Senate on Tuesday night, as voters delivered a thorough rebuke to President Trump and handed the party victories in places long considered Republican strongholds. Democrats flipped Senate seats in Iowa, Kansas, Ohio, North Carolina, South Carolina and even Texas, according to The Associated Press, and were in a strong position to take...

The International Mission Board (IMB) of the Southern Baptist Convention has targeted the former Soviet Union for a major initiative, including evangelism, discipleship, and church planting. The campaign, called "Hope 4 Russia," targets the largest land mass country in the world 13 years after the fall of communism there. Teams of workers and volunteers have been placed throughout Russia in an effort to reach people in the former communist country. Ed Tarleton, the coordinator of the massive effort, says there are many challenges and rewards when it comes to ministering in the former Soviet Union -- especially with the current...

You just had to attend Bill McBride's rally for Hispanics in Broward County this week to see what is happening to his campaign. There were maybe two dozen discouraged McBride supporters inside a Southwest Ranches restaurant -- and a flood of Bush supporters waving signs outside. Even in this Democratic stronghold, McBride has trouble. The panic among Democratic insiders is so thick you can cut it with a knife. They see victory slipping away ... not only in the governor's race, but everywhere. Democrats are working overtime to make sure McBride's sinking campaign doesn't drag down the whole ticket.
