Ukraine has ordered 100 Rosomak multi-purpose armoured vehicles, which are made in Poland under a Finnish license, Poland's prime minister said on Saturday. "I bring an order placed yesterday by (Ukrainian) Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal for 100 Rosomaks that will be fabricated here," Mateusz Morawiecki said during a visit to the Rosomak manufacturing site in the southern Polish town of Siemianowice Slaskie. The order will be financed through funds that Poland has received from the European Union and US funds that Ukraine has received, he said, without providing details or the overall cost of the contract.

Russian Energy Minister Nikolai Shulginov said on Tuesday that his country has now been able to redirect all of its crude oil exports that have been impacted by Western sanctions over Ukraine to what he referred to as "friendly" countries. "I can say today that we have managed to completely redirect the entire volume of exports affected by the embargo. There was no decrease in sales," Shulginov was quoted by Reuters as saying. The Rise of BRICS There is no question that Russia’s fellow members of the increasingly influential BRICS (Brazil, Russia, India, China, South Africa) Alliance have played a...

Russia and China are determined to hold the American perpetrators of the Nord Stream sabotage to account. Uncle Sam’s days – indeed decades – of wanton criminality are over. There’s going to be hell to pay as the imperialist tyranny in Washington hits a wall of reality. Several weeks have gone by with the United States and its Western lackeys stonewalling at the United Nations Security Council, squirming and resisting calls from Moscow and Beijing for an international criminal investigation into the sabotage of the Baltic Sea pipelines that were blown up in September. A swathe of independent observers, such...

After the first Ukrainian attempt to push towards had failed it is now reinforcing that failure. As I describe the move: The only 'successful' attack was across the Inhulet river near Andriivka in the direction of the dam and river crossing that closes off the Kakhovka Dnieper reservoir. The troops were cut off and mostly destroyed. On the western side of the salient a Russian unit crossed the Inhulet towards north and attacked the Ukrainians on that side. It soon had to pull back and the Ukrainians used the Russian crossing to reconnect with the cut off units in the...

This list only includes destroyed vehicles and equipment of which photo or videographic evidence is available. Therefore, the amount of equipment destroyed is significantly higher than recorded here. Small arms, ATGMs, MANPADS, loitering munitions, drones used as unmanned bait, civilian vehicles, trailers and derelict equipment are not included in this list. All possible effort has gone into avoiding duplicate entries and discerning the status of equipment between captured or abandoned. Many of the entries listed as 'abandoned' will likely end up captured or destroyed. Similarly, some of the captured equipment might be destroyed if it can't be recovered. When the...

A woman in a hot air balloon realizes she is lost. She lowers her altitude and spots a man fishing from a boat below. She shouts to him, "Excuse me, can you help me? I promised a friend I would meet him an hour ago, but I don't know where I am." The man consults his portable GPS and replies, "You're in a hot air balloon, about 40 feet above a ground elevation of 2,400 feet above sea level. You are at 31 degrees, 14.97 minutes north latitude and 100 degrees, 49.09 minutes west longitude." She rolls her eyes and...

We reported in July 2018 that Twitter has long been accused of censoring conservatives. Twitter was indeed censoring and shadowbanning the President of the United States, Donald Trump’s twitter account, @realDonaldTrump. In July there was even video proof that President Trump’s Twitter page is being censored. In a video tweeted in July 2017 by user @RightlyNews, a tweet by @realDonaldTrump ‘unliked’ itself after the user ‘liked’ the tweet by clicking the heart button. Strangely, the user clicked ‘like’ on two prior tweets by @AmericanVoterUS and @FoxNews with no ‘unlike’ issues. The user ‘liked’ President Trump’s tweet a total of four...

A week ago, reporters and editors in the combined newsroom of DNAinfo and Gothamist, two of New York City’s leading digital purveyors of local news, celebrated victory in their vote to join a union. On Thursday, they lost their jobs, as Joe Ricketts, the billionaire founder of TD Ameritrade who owned the sites, shut them down. At 5 p.m., a post by Mr. Ricketts went up on the sites announcing the decision. He praised them for reporting “tens of thousands of stories that have informed, impacted and inspired millions of people.” But he added, “DNAinfo is, at the end of...

..... Despite what Kerry said, which was unpleasant to Israeli ears, his commitment to the success of the diplomatic process and the time he has invested in solving the problem, regardless of the other unresolved conflicts in the world, should to be appreciated. Ukraine can wait. Kerry's goal of ending the conflict needs to be our goal as well. His problem, however, is how to go about it. From the beginning, he should never have set the bar so high. He should have added this, for the sake of fairness, at the Senate hearing. Perhaps he forgot. There is no...

Every time Kerry opens his mouth about his Peace Talks Follies, he only makes things worse, especially for himself. Israel’s announcement last week of new homes for a southern Jerusalem neighborhood in an area claimed by the Palestinian Authority was the trigger that caused the blow-up in the American-led effort to extend peace talks, U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry told a Senate committee Tuesday. He told the Senate Foreign Relations Committee that after Israel refused to release a fourth batch of terrorists, and then followed that decision with the housing tender in the Gilo neighborhood of Jerusalem, “poof, that...

Bennett fires back at Kerry, no apology for building in Jerusalem, which 'is no poof, it's Zionism.' Economics Minister Naftali Bennett fired back at US Secretary of State John Kerry's accusations before the Senate on Tuesday, where he blamed Israel for responsibility over the collapse of the peace talks. Kerry criticized Israel, saying "700 settlement units were announced in Jerusalem, and 'poof'...that was sort of the moment." His comment referred to a reissued call for tenders on over 700 housing units in the southern Jerusalem neighborhood of Gilo last Tuesday. A construction freeze on Jewish building in Jerusalem, Judea and...

It wasn’t what Kerry said on Tuesday, but how he said it, that generated headlines blaming Israel for exploding a deal to extend peace talks. “Poof, that was sort of the moment.” It wasn’t what US Secretary of State John Kerry said on Tuesday, but how he said it, that generated headlines from Jerusalem to New York blaming Israel for exploding a deal to extend the peace talks. It was a narrative exclamation, and pause, strong enough to be heard round the world. It fell, like a slow drumbeat, on one of the most sensitive issues of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict,...

Minnesota Rep. Michele Bachmann today got a very warm reception from her home state at a conference of conservative bloggers in Minneapolis, but a few gay rights protesters still managed to make her the latest victim of the glitter attacks that have already been waged on fellow GOP presidential candidates Newt Gingrich and Tim Pawlenty. Following her speech at the RightOnline conference this morning, Bachmann had some glitter thrown on her as she made her way off stage to greet the audience.

I have discovered the ultimate weapon against any TSA screener who wants to cop a cheap feel as I fly during the Thanksgiving holiday. The weapon is Kielbasa. It's Aunt Blogdona’s annual Thanksgiving treat of kielbasa and sautéed onion borsch. One bowl of this stuff in an untrained bowel and your gut produces enough gas to drive the family car home from Hamtramck, Michigan to Cedar Rapids, Iowa. If the EPA ever smelled this stuff, everyone’s arse would have to be pasted with federally-mandated warning stickers. If a lawyer from the EU ever smelled it in a closed room, Auntie...

SANTA FE — If two criminal defense lawyers serving in the Legislature get their way, a lot of New Mexico ex-cons wouldn't have to worry about their rap sheets following them around the rest of their lives. Senate Majority Leader Michael Sanchez, D-Belen, and Rep. Antonio "Moe" Maestas, D-Albuquerque, are pushing bills that would allow judges to wipe away court and police records of offenders who complete sentences for certain crimes and aren't charged with new crimes for a certain period of time. The bills are not identical, but under one or the other offenses that could be expunged range...

During the run-up to the primaries, Senator Obama did not appear in the Senate to vote on the (Kyl-Lieberman Amendment)calling on the government to designate the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps a terrorist entity and thus suffer the imposition of sanctions. On the day of the vote on the amendment, however, Obama issued a statement announcing that he would have voted against it. In the statement, the closest he came to addressing the merits of the amendment was his assertion that "he does not think that now is the time for saber-rattling towards Iran." The amendment passed the Senate 76-22 on...
