A United Airlines flight attendant was spotted wearing a Palestinian flag pin on a domestic flight — riling pro-Israel advocates even as the airline stood by its uniform policy. Jewish civil rights group StopAntisemitism blasted United for allowing staffers for what they viewed as a divisive political statement after an outraged passenger notified the group of the staffer, who wore the pin and a keffiyeah around her neck during a Tuesday flight from Chicago’s O’Hare Airport to Newark Airport. “StopAntisemitism is alarmed by the rising trend of US airline employees displaying Palestinian flags and keffiyehs while on duty,” StopAntisemitism founder...
  • How common are flat 5-pin trailer (electrical) connectors? (Towing application)

How commonly are 5-pin trailer (electrical) connectors used? I'm looking at a combo 7-pin to 4-pin and 5-pin adapter plug on Amazon. (Two in one.) No surprise: It is a few bucks costlier than a simpler 7-pin to 4-pin adapter plug. But, I can't recall ever seeing a 5-pin in the flesh /in use. Are they really very uncommon? Does one particular type of trailer typically use the 5 pin connectors? If very uncommon, I might as well save the few $$ and get a 7-pin to 4-pin (only) adapter. (I may be in the market for a 2nd used...
  • FIGURES. Barack Obama Had His Own 2012 Confederate Flag Pin

Many of the nation’s largest retailers abruptly decided this week to stop selling merchandise tied to the Confederate battle flag. Walmart, Sears, Kmart, eBay, Amazon and Etsy removed Confederate flag items from their online stores. This comes after racist killer Dylann Storm Roof murdered 9 Christians in the Emanuel AME Church last week. But Democrats have been using Confederate flags in their campaigns for decades. Hillary Clinton had Confederate flag campaign pins in 2008.

  • Is that a Pentagram within the American Flag pin?

Am I seeing things? If not, is this a pin that is worn frequently. Is there a reason for the pentagram? Respect for the Jewish State? /s Not sure what to think of it. I did not go on a search to look for similar pins.

Sara was on Greta's show last night and I couldn't help but wonder why she would be wearing a Hillary Pin. If you don't remember the Hillary Pin, it was a pin that she and all of her 'friends' wore during the impeachment as well as during her run for the Senate. Just wondering? I couldn't get the image to display properly, and would appreciate some assistance if available.Sara

Please wear the pin, Ms. McKinney -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Controversial Georgia Rep. Cynthia McKinney might be charged with a crime after a physical altercation with a Capitol Police officer. But somebody needs to file multiple counts against McKinney of assault on common sense. The Georgia Democrat long has been one of the House's more inflammatory members. She has insinuated that the Bush administration knew about the 9/11 attacks before they were to happen, but no warning was issued nor action taken so that the Bush-backers in big business could profit from the war that ensued. McKinney has been quoted as saying that...

An unprecedented theft of personal identification numbers from thousands of consumers across the country is calling into question the basic safety of paying with debit cards. The debit card breach, which the trade publication American Banker says could have allowed thieves to gain access to as many as 600,000 bank accounts, has raised larger questions about whether merchants are improperly storing customers' personal data. The robbery could mark a new era in computer crime, one analyst says. The problem, according to security experts, is the storage of PINs attached to debit cards. The compromise of so many PINs suggests that...

Thieves have figured out how to steal your PIN (Personal Identification Number) so they can raid your bank accounts using phony ATM cards, after stealing other pertinent data about your account from a third-party company. The New Jersey banking industry says complaints of what is called ATM fraud are on the rise in the Garden State because of this weak link. "Some debit card machines, particularly those used at what are called Point of Sale or POS locations, actually store the PIN numbers on the terminals themselves. Criminals are able to access PIN numbers to create new debit cards using...

The High Court in London has imposed an injunction on Cambridge University security experts who claim to have uncovered serious failings in the system banks use to secure ATM PIN codes. The gagging order, preventing public disclosure of cryptographic vulnerabilities, was made at the request of CitiBank and Diners' Club against experts due to testify in a 'phantom withdrawal' case to be heard in the South African High Court next month. South African couple Anil and Vanita Singh say that £50,000 withdrawn through the Diners' Club account through British ATMs in March 2000 was never made by them. Diners...

Democrats pin 2004 hopes on folksy charmer By Andrew Buncombe in Robbins, North Carolina 10 November 2002 Like many in Robbins, Cecil Hackney has a ready solution for a bruised and bewildered Democratic Party looking for someone to lead them to victory – North Carolina's Senator John Edwards. "I think he could be the next president, given the state of things now," said Mr Hackney. "I think Johnny could hop in there and we'd see. He would be good. He is a good man." Though not a household figure, Mr Edwards has been a name on the lips of Washington...
