Federal judge reads threats she's received aloud in court, says, 'We will not be intimidated' A federal judge on Thursday upheld her order postponing the termination of temporary protected status for around 350,000 Haitians in the United States.The Justice Department appealed U.S. District Judge Ana Reyes' stay to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit but simultaneously requested that she rescind her order. Reyes heard arguments from both sides on Thursday. She said she was denying the government’s motion and would issue a written order before Feb. 19, which is the next deadline in the appellate court case....

A Georgia man who was granted clemency by former President Joe Biden in December has been arrested following a weeks-long investigation into an armed bank robbery, the Nassau County Sheriff’s Office (NCSO) announced. Marshall Foskey, 66, of Pembroke, Georgia, is currently jailed and facing charges of armed burglary, armed robbery, armed kidnapping, felony possession of a firearm, and grand theft. Foskey has a lengthy criminal history, including multiple felony burglary charges. The investigation began on October 10 at the First Federal Bank on State Road 200. Investigators say Foskey allegedly displayed a firearm and ordered staff to empty cash drawers....
