Undercover journalist James O’Keefe went to the front lines of the migrant industrial complex in his new documentary “Line in the Sand,” and what he found was shocking. “What my takeaway was, actually, from having lived through this and gone down there and been in Mexico and faced it with the cartel, is that it’s all about money,” O’Keefe tells Alex Stein of “Prime Time with Alex Stein.” “Everyone is making money off of it. And there was one scene in the film where the cartel is cutting through the fence, and I’m face to face with them. And first...

Once again, Lahaina comes to mind.. It's not just the piddly $750 being handed out by FEMA to residents in North Carolina and other states whose homes were destroyed in Hurricane Helene. (A similar amount was handed out to residents of Lahaina, Hawaii, after their town was destroyed by fire.) It's the lethal incompetence. Just as cops taking orders from state government officials blocked Lahaina residents in cars from escaping the inferno -- the only survivors were those who defied them and drove through the blockades -- FEMA officials from the federal government are doing all they can to block...

As Hurricane Helene tears through the eastern seaboard, leaving devastation in its wake, the mismanagement of FEMA under the Biden-Harris regime is hitting home with deadly consequences. The storm’s ferocious winds and torrential rains have claimed at least 190 lives, left millions without power, and trapped countless families in floodwaters across North Carolina and beyond. Entire communities have been cut off from vital resources, with citizens scrambling for help. Yet, in the face of this national disaster, the Biden-Harris administration’s FEMA appears woefully unprepared. Why? Because over the past two years, they have funneled more than $1 billion in taxpayer...

The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) has spent more than $600 million of available funds to serve noncitizen migrants in fiscal year 2024, and now, according to Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas, the agency doesn’t have enough funding left over to make it through the rest of the hurricane season. “The agency is being stretched as it works with states to assess damage from Hurricane Helene and delivers meals, water, generators and other critical supplies,” the Associated Press reported. Hurricane Helene made landfall in Florida last Thursday, then plowed through Georgia, the Carolinas, Tennessee and Virginia, flooding towns and killing...

Illinois government workers’ union dues fund Democratic Party campaign committees, which are now seeking to tip the presidential election outcome in swing states. That fails to align with at least 40% of members’ politics. The Illinois Democratic Party wants to decide the outcome of the presidential election by making a strategic investment in swing states, according to state party chair Lisa Henandez. That strategy was echoed by U.S. Sen. Dick Durbin, who said, “We should adopt [Wisconsin] – and we have in many respects – to be part of their organization to elect Kamala Harris and Tim Walz.” The problem:...

Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton filed a lawsuit Friday to stop a county from using taxpayer dollars to pay a voter registration firm aligned with progressives to identify unregistered voters. Travis County is allegedly illegally paying taxpayer dollars to Civic Government Solutions (CGS), a voter registration firm, to create a list of unregistered voters for the county, according to the lawsuit. Travis County, home of Austin, Texas, is solidly blue, and CGS CEO Jeremy Smith has made statements in the past that encourage people to vote for progressive candidates.

The $400 billion federal clean-energy lending program that has faced criticism for moving too slow is stepping up efforts to push cash out the door before the election. The Energy Department’s Loan Programs Office was turbocharged by the 2022 Inflation Reduction Act, which gave it hundreds of billions of dollars to lend to clean-energy businesses. So far, it has only used a tiny fraction of that capacity. Biden administration officials fear that if Donald Trump is elected, the office would stop making loans. The program was largely dormant while Trump was president. “The election is everything,” said Adam Forgie, the...

The bill has drawn immense criticism from Republicans who say the measure is a “betrayal” to California residents and further promotes illegal immigration. This comes as California currently faces a $68 billion budget deficit.

Massachusetts Republicans have submitted a formal request with the state's government for information on the alleged "$1 billion in secret migrant crisis spending" as the Bay State grapples with the migrant crisis. In a release from the state's Republican Party, MassGOP, the group demanded that Gov. Maura Healey's administration provides a detailed cost breakdown of the toll that the migrant crisis has caused for the state's residents. "The Healey-Driscoll Administration has shrouded nearly $1 billion spent in secrecy, leaving Massachusetts residents in the dark," MassGOP chair Amy Carnevale said in a statement. "They have withheld critical information on 600 incidents...

'The program is in a death spiral,' former domestic policy adviser to former President Trump says In a move critics say is designed to shield the Biden-Harris administration from election fallout, the administration has leveraged taxpayer funds to mask upcoming increases in Medicare premiums. Under the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA), which was intended to cap out-of-pocket drug costs for Medicare beneficiaries, insurers are poised to significantly hike monthly premiums, with average bids for Part D plans expected to triple by 2025. In response to potential voter backlash, the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) rolled out a three-year "demonstration...

As Acting Secretary of Labor, Julie Su has a very big eraser and she just used it wipe out her own $32.6 billion dollar mistake. While she was California’s Secretary of Labor, Su oversaw the California Employment Development Department – the EDD – which lost more than $40 billion during the pandemic to homegrown and international fraudsters. But Su recently forgave $32.6 billion of that debt. How? Because the state owed it to her federal department. In other words, Su did not even have to borrow from Peter to pay Paul – she just made sure she went from being...

Gun control activist David Hogg has been hit with allegations over the spending practices of his group Leaders We Deserve PAC. Conservative outlets are reporting that the group spent comparably little on actual candidates as opposed to travel and expenses. His prior counsel is a familiar name in such controversies in Washington: former Clinton campaign general counsel Marc Elias.Hogg created a group in the aftermath of the 2022 midterm elections to elect Generation Z politicians to offices throughout the country. The group was given favorable national coverage in major media outlets. He explained that contributions would be used to elect...

Reading a campaign speech in Milwaukee this week, Joe Biden boasted of a plan to spend some $36 million on a stretch of 6th Street, just west of downtown Milwaukee. His speechwriter had him listing such federally funded benefits as bike lanes, newly planted trees, and bus lanes to make 6th Street a prettier place to be. And sure, it might at that. Trees are always lovely for pedestrians, though they can obstruct the view of pedestrians, drivers, and bicyclists alike. And bicycles and buses are always generically popular, even though in Milwaukee they each tend to have about the...

GOP Senators blocked a hidden migration bailout for the Democrats’ sanctuary cities and states when they voted against the border bill pushed by Sen. Mitch McConnell (R-KY). The GOP revolt leaves Democrat mayors and city politicians scrambling for funds they need to support and hide President Joe Biden’s growing population of poor migrants during the 2024 election year. “It’s a huge problem for the Democrats because the Biden administration was counting on being able to shovel all this money onto the state and local allies,” said Jessica Vaughan, the policy director at the Center for Immigration Studies, adding:

Denver will cut hours at recreation centers, end in-person vehicle registration renewals and eliminate spring flower beds to save $5 million this year, a response to the migrant crisis that is expected to cost the city $180 million. Mayor Mike Johnston on Friday blasted Congress for failing this week to pass a $118.3 billion bill aimed at stopping the flow of illegal entry at the southern border and making it easier for migrants who enter legally to get work permits. About 40,000 migrants, mostly from Venezuela, have arrived in Denver over the past year, and more than 3,500 are living...

"It’s the right thing to do for the migrants and the city of New York”... Remember all the outrage over the school that kicked out students into ‘remote’ classes to make way for housing migrants? That’s the literal state of the New York State budget. Gov. Hochul has unveiled a budget with $2.4 billion allocated for caring for the mass of illegal alien migrant invaders. While the state budget raises that amount by $500 million, it’s proposing to cut funding for schools in Long Island. A total of 44 Long Island school districts would see decreased state funding next year,...

In a stunning display of misplaced priorities, Chicago Mayor Johnson is once again raiding funds meant for residents’ services to cater to the escalating financial burden of migrants. The staggering cost, nearing $300 million this year alone, has prompted the mayor to divert $95 million from federal COVID relief funds, exacerbating the strain on Chicago’s already beleaguered residents.
