WASHINGTON — Former Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg failed to replace outdated air-traffic-control systems while in office — with his agency instead shelling out tens of billions of dollars on a DEI agenda, according to federal spending records and airline-industry insiders.
What his department was really interested in was handing out hundreds of diversity, equity and inclusion grants totaling more than $80 billion over four years — at least half of the DOT’s entire budget for a typical fiscal year, records show.

As posted before, this $80 billion was less than useless. It would have literally been a better use of the money to put it in a large pile and burn it.
That $80 billion could have certainly upgraded quite a few systems.
What Butt Plug did was criminal - and he should pay a heavy price for diverting funds to something as stupid as DEI initiatives - a long prison term comes to mind...
His biggest “achievement” was getting rid of “racist” freeways.
Also big promoter of road diet.
Another project to get rid of roads and make driving harder on people.
The theory - if the roads are clogged, people will reduce driving and use bikes.
Would love to know what percentage of the $80 billion was specifically targeted at “inclusion” for LGBT etc. Whether it’s Buttigieg, employees at USAID, or Disney, it seems the only policies that gays in power care about are policies that promote homosexuality.
