Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison (D) claimed that “nobody” knows what the left-wing terrorist organization Antifa is and that it does not exist, despite promoting an Antifa “handbook” in a 2018 social media post. Ellison was reacting to U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi and Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem’s remarks at a recent White House roundtable on political violence during a Saturday appearance on MSNBC when he said, “There really is no Antifa as an institutional organization… Nobody even knows what it is.” He went on to claim that “the first person I ever heard use the word Antifa was...

A petition to disband the Rutgers University Turning Point USA chapter has been launched for promoting "hate speech" and creating a "toxic environment." The petition launched this week, and by Wednesday, already has 1,679 signatures.

A Rutgers University professor who taught a course on anti-fascism was blocked from leaving the US for Spain on Wednesday night, according to media reports, hours after Donald Trump hosted a White House roundtable highlighting the impact of antifa – or “anti-fascist” – far-left activists. Mark Bray, an historian who published the 2017 book Antifa: the Anti-Fascist Handbook, and has taught courses on anti-fascism at the New Jersey university, was attempting to board a plane at Newark airport when he was informed at the boarding gate that the reservations for him and his family had been cancelled. The professor, nicknamed...

A high school classmate of mine, an honor roll student and leader back then, long known for her objectivity, sent a compelling letter to a handful of friends. She gave me permission to anonymously reprint her insightful letter, which I slightly modified only for length: Hello friends, 2020 is such an important election year, I want to share my thoughts with people I believe share my concerns about a possible Donald Trump loss. In November, we will not be choosing between two old men from our traditional parties. It will be a fight between the cornerstone of our democracy –...

Mark Bray, a financier of international Antifa and the author of the Antifa Handbook, has announced he is fleeing to Europe (believed to be Spain). The announcement follows the U.S. government declaring Antifa domestic terrorists, and the intelligence community looking to establish the international links to declare international Antifa as a foreign terrorist organization. Without evidence, Bray says the reason is because of "death threats + doxing." Bray is one of the major financiers of the International Antifa Defence Fund, which also announced that it was shutting down to relocate its operations abroad in an attempt to escape U.S. prosecution....

We have been discussing the continued incarceration of many individuals for their participation in the Jan. 6th riot. Despite claims that the riot was an insurrection, the vast majority of defendants have been given relatively minor charges. Nevertheless, the Justice Department has insisted on holding many without bail and some have received longer sentences, like Jacob Chansley (aka “QAnon Shaman”) who was given a 41-month sentence for “obstructing a federal proceeding.” Thomas “Tas” Alexander Starks, 31, of Lisbon, N.D., faced a strikingly different approach by the Justice Department. The self-avowed Antifa member took an axe to the office of Sen....

Mark Bray, a historian of human rights, terrorism, and political radicalism in modern Europe at Rutgers University in New Jersey, claims President Donald Trump’s labeling of Antifa as a terrorist organization is a cover-up for police violence. In a Washington Post op-ed, titled, "Antifa isn’t the problem, Trump’s bluster is a distraction from police violence," Bray explains that Trump is trying “to break the connection between...anti-racist and black activism." Campus Reform has previously reported on Bray for his authorship of the book Antifa: The Anti-Fascist Handbook and his promise to donate half of the proceeds of his book sales to...

Editor’s note: The subject of this story is being identified because he’s pushed radical rhetoric and has advocated for politically-motivated violence from behind a mask. The Daily Caller News Foundation does not and will not publish truly private information such as home addresses. The Daily Caller News Foundation has determined that an influential Antifa leader uses aliases to spread radical and often violent rhetoric while concealing his actual identity. Joseph “Jose” Alcoff works with congressional Democrats as part of his day job as a manager with a DC-based advocacy group. But he spreads socialist and communist propaganda when going by...

Dartmouth College lecturer Mark Bray made the argument to abolish capitalism in a recent op-ed for Truthout, linking capitalism to the prioritizing of profit over the environment and everything else. The professor has previously donated half of the profits from his book chronicling Antifa to the organization, written an introduction to an Antifa comic book, and tweeted glowingly about Antifa flags made by kids at a summer camp. Dartmouth professor argued on Tuesday that "if we don't abolish capitalism, capitalism will abolish us." Dartmouth College lecturer Mark Bray made the remark in an op-ed for Truthout, titled "How Capitalism Stokes...

Professor Mark Bray is what passes for the intellectual wing of Antifa. You might recall that I mentioned him here:Antifa, says Mark Bray, "have no allegiance to liberal democracy, which they believe has failed the marginalized communities they're defending." Professor Bray is a lecturer in history at GRID, the Gender Research Institute at Dartmouth, which is the usual social engineering flimflam masquerading as a field of scholarship, but it's Ivy League so it'll cost you an arm and a leg (metaphorically, I mean; not literally, like, say, attending a Charles Murray speech at Middlebury). Dartmouth College is in the town...

Bluestockings bookstore quickly filled to capacity last night for Mark Bray, a former Occupy Wall Street organizer turned Dartmouth history lecturer who is making waves with the publication of Antifa: The Anti-Fascist Handbook. Soon after its release last month, the president of Dartmouth rebuked him in a strongly worded statement after Bray, appearing on “Meet the Press,” expressed support for the sometimes violent tactics of Antifa, that mysterious network of masked anarchists, socialists, communists and varied others who have clashed with white supremacists and neo-Nazis, tragically in Charlottesville. About 100 of Dartmouth’s faculty then attacked the president for criticizing their...

Unable to hang Russia collusion charges on President Donald Trump, The Washington Post has turned to a new and far more dangerous tactic --normalizing and promoting left-wing hate groups in hopes of encouraging violent conflict against the president and, in particular, his supporters. Days before the rioting in Charlottesville, Va., the Post ran a feature on the cool kids who were gravitating to the anarchist movement. It delved into their weekly potlucks (deviled eggs, banana bread, occasional Popeye’s chicken and a late start because the group runs on "anarchist standard time") and how they wore black masks "so that authorities...

First bursting into the headlines when they shut down far-right provocateur Milo Yiannopoulos in February at the University of California at Berkeley, antifascists again captivated the public imagination by battling the fascists assembled at the “Unite the Right” white power rally in Charlottesville. But what is antifa? Where did it come from? Militant anti-fascist or “antifa” (pronounced ANtifa) is a radical pan-leftist politics of social revolution applied to fighting the far right. Its adherents are predominantly communists, socialists and anarchists who reject turning to the police or the state to halt the advance of white supremacy. Instead they advocate popular...
