A Catholic priest died after a large crucifix fell on top of him while he was leading a mass in Ecuador that was being livestreamed at the time. The Archdiocese of Guayaquil on Sunday confirmed that Father Sánchez Molinari had died in a post on social media which said: "We announce that our beloved Fr. Patricio Alfredo Sánchez Molinari, CSsR., who served as parish priest of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church in the Central Vicariate, has departed for the Father’s House to rejoice in His presence and glory."

President Donald Trump announced that the planned firing squad execution of convicted Fort Hood shooter Nidal Hasan will not be livestreamed, reversing an earlier Pentagon announcement that the public would be able to watch the convicted mass killer's final moments. Trump said in a Truth Social post that broadcasting the execution could serve as a powerful deterrent to terrorism but acknowledged that many Americans would rather not witness Hasan's death. "He will die, as scheduled, by firing squad, but this event will not be streamed," Trump wrote. Hasan’s execution is scheduled for Dec. 3. Trump said immediate family members of...

Pressure has been mounting as many, including the archbishop of Catholics in the U.S. military, speak out against the Pentagon’s plan to livestream the execution scheduled for December. President Donald Trump is reportedly reconsidering the widely criticized public broadcasting of the execution of Nidal Hasan, days after the Pentagon announced the plan to livestream it. Citing four people who have reportedly spoken with Trump, Axios reported Oct. 12 that the President has expressed “misgivings” about the plan in private. According to Newsmax, Trump reportedly told a confidant outside the administration that the livestream “might not happen,” Axios reported. The source...

WASHINGTON (AP) — The Pentagon says the firing squad execution of Fort Hood shooter Nidal Malik Hasan will be livestreamed after Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth said the execution would be “public.” Hegseth, speaking to the conservative TV outlet Real America’s Voice News on Wednesday, said the execution of Hasan will take place at Fort Hood on Dec. 3. Hasan was convicted of killing 13 people and injuring 32 others in a shooting at the military base in 2009. “We’ll make sure that people are able to watch it, that it’s public,” Hegseth said.

...that CCN live streamed the Trump rally in Butler PA, and that CNN had never live streamed a Trump rally. The obvious conclusions are 1) they wanted to be in on the kill, 2) they knew in advance that there would be a sniper shoot. Discuss, please.

Thousands of migrants have been camping out beneath a bridge in Eagle Pass, Texas — though you wouldn’t be able to tell by viewing the city’s livestream where the overflow facility is obstructed by a giant black box. The alteration was visible in live footage shared by the border city, which experienced an unpreceded surge of some 4,000 migrants on Wednesday — prompting officials to declare a state of emergency. “I am aware that there are 2,000-4,000 [migrants] under the Bridge and more are coming,” Mayor Rolando Salinas told The Post Wednesday. “We’ve also been in contact with Union Pacific...

All construction, all the time! Pennsylvania officials have launched a 24/7 livestream of the I-95 overpass reconstruction efforts following the busy highway’s fiery collapse in northeast Philadelphia. The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation put up the video stream on Thursday morning, showing off the crews, cranes and trucks on the ground clearing the debris after a tanker explosion burned down a northbound overpass and destabilized the opposite southbound lanes. “To chart our progress and give everyone a sense of timing, we’re launching our 24/7 livestream where you can watch I-95 get rebuilt,” Gov. Josh Shapiro tweeted. “Government is working for the...

A Chinese content creator died last week after livestreaming himself consuming an excessive amount of exceptionally strong alcohol. The 34-year-old influencer, who goes by “Sanqiange,” was found dead 12 hours after the May 16 livestream on Douyin, China’s version of TikTok, according to CNN. During the stream, he reportedly drank at least seven bottles of Baijiu, a Chinese liquor with an alcohol content of 30% to 60%. Sanqiange was allegedly involved in an online challenge, called a “PK,” against another creator on the platform. In a “PK” challenge, two influencers typically compete for gifts or rewards from their audience. The...

County officials in Nevada over the weekend confirmed that cameras live-streaming vote-counting areas on Wednesday night and Thursday morning went dark for a total of eight hours. “We know that our election livestream cameras went dark overnight. We investigated what happened and how to prevent it happening again,” Washoe County’s Twitter account posted Thursday afternoon. Unsurprisingly, the tweet went viral, racking up thousands of reactions, which included questions concerning election integrity. “The livestream computer application lost connection with the courtesy cameras at 11:24 p.m. the evening of November 9,” the county said on its website. “All staff had left for...

After dealing with the ups and downs of the COVID pandemic for almost two years, many Christians across the country are back in the pews attending worship services once again. But just as the pandemic affected churches' attendance and finances, it has also left its mark in a different way – some of the faithful have left the church they attended before the rise of COVID to attend a new congregation. The pandemic propelled people toward life changes of all kinds over the past two years, including career shifts, new relationships, and relocation. And that includes new churches too. More...

Social Media Giants Facebook, Instagram, and Tiktok livestreamed the murder of a 15-year-old girl by four extremely violent teens. Afterward, the four black teens can be seen on the footage gloating, defiant, eating popsicles and smiling. As Big Tech purges social media of independent and conservative voices for inciting violence, it seems to accept no responsibility for pedophilia or many other crimes on its curated platforms. In a shocking display of the state of social media and its effects on society, Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok all carried the livestream of four incredibly violent teenagers, aged 12-14, murdering another 15-year-old teen...
