Iraq veteran Peter Reid has gotten a boost from LeAnn Rimes. A 2004 mortar attack in Iraq's Anbar province left Reid, a Navy Seabee, partially paralyzed, blind in one eye and dependent on a motorized wheelchair. He also suffered a brain injury, and bits of shrapnel remain in his head and body. Reid hadn't left his Palm Bay house for months because it took two people to lift him into and out of his van. New songs from LeAnn Rimes and Smash Mouth lead singer Steve Harwell are among the offerings on the "NASCAR 3D: The IMAX Experience" film soundtrack. The Shout! Factory disc will also boast previously released tracks from Sheryl Crow, Lynyrd Skynyrd and the Allman Brothers Band, among others. Ben & Jerry's "One World One Heart Festival" scheduled this weekend at the original 1969 Woodstock concert site has been canceled.Tracy Chapman and LeAnn Rimes had been scheduled to headline the festival, slated for Saturday and Sunday at the former farm, now the Bethel Woods Center for the Arts, 80 miles northwest of New York City. "An economic downturn coupled with an unexpected slump in the music industry" forced cancellation of this year's event, the company's Web site said. Only 1,000 of the 30,000 tickets had been sold, USA Today reported Wednesday.Ben & Jerry's said automatic refunds would be provided.
