Ben & Jerry's "One World One Heart Festival" scheduled this weekend at the original 1969 Woodstock concert site has been canceled.
Tracy Chapman and LeAnn Rimes had been scheduled to headline the festival, slated for Saturday and Sunday at the former farm, now the Bethel Woods Center for the Arts, 80 miles northwest of New York City.
"An economic downturn coupled with an unexpected slump in the music industry" forced cancellation of this year's event, the company's Web site said.
Only 1,000 of the 30,000 tickets had been sold, USA Today reported Wednesday.
Ben & Jerry's said automatic refunds would be provided.

Economic downturn = Bush's fault.
Under Clinton the hippies could smoke pot all day and roll around in feces. Ahh, the good ol' days...

Tracy Chapman is no surprise. But LeAnn Rimes should be ashamed of herself.

If Rimes couldn't sell 30K tickets in upstate NY her career is over.

There's some bad Metamucil out there, and people are having bad trips. Stay away from the Orange Metamucil.

It's not just this event. It seems like people just aren't that interested in going to music fests anymore. Street Scene, the event Dave works for is not selling tickets like they have in previous years. If it loses money this year, it's over. There's just so many of them now, it's not an event anymore, ya know?

Ben & Jerry's disappoints 1000 fans.
Why didn't they have the concert for everyone that purchased a ticket? money
Liberals care about money. Don't let anyone convince you otherwise.
