Prince Harry is to be inducted alongside Apollo 11 hero Buzz Aldrin as a 'living legend' of aviation at a glitzy Beverly Hills ceremony hosted by John Travolta. The Duke of Sussex, 39, has been recognised ahead of the likes of Charles Duke - who became the youngest person to walk on the moon in 1972 when he was aged 36. The decorated event will be hosted by John Travolta and has been previously been dubbed by actor Morgan Freeman as the Oscars of aviation. It is understood that his work with setting up the Invictus Games Foundation will also...

In the closing minutes of Saturday Night Fever, the following events occur: A racist injustice, an attempted date rape, a gang rape, a horrific accidental death with an element of suicide, and (not least) a nighttime ride on the disco-era New York City subway. The film concludes with the hero getting rejected by his lady. Naturally it was one of the biggest hits of 1977. Baby Boomers jammed theaters to see Saturday Night Fever (which earned the equivalent of over $350 million in today’s dollars) and Gen-Xers (like me) either sneaked in to see its forbidden R-rated depravities or...

In the wake of the explosive HBO documentary “Going Clear,” John Travolta has come to Scientology’s defense. The 61-year-old made it clear he has no plans to see the doc, which alleges the church has physically abused and blackmailed some of its members, among other questionable acts. “No I haven’t and I don’t really care to,” Travolta told the Tampa Bay Times when asked if he’ll see the film. He’s been a member of the church for more than 40 years and claims his experiences have been nothing but amazing. “I haven’t experienced anything that the hearsay has (claimed), so...

HBO caused a major stir on social media with Sunday night’s broadcast of “Going Clear: Scientology and the Prison of Belief,” a blistering documentary about the Church of Scientology and its celebrity devotees. People Magazine published a teaser for the film Sunday, which was first screened in January at the Sundance Film Festival. Sensational in content but not in tone, Going Clear has been making headlines since its first screening at Sundance in January. It has also upset that secretive, combative and often embattled Church, which in a lengthy statement attacked the film as “insidious religious persecution by bullies toting...

I wonder what Maggy Haggerty think about allegation against John Travolta – that the acclaimed actor sexually assaulted at least two masseurs? I imagine it sounds all too familiar to Haggerty, a massage therapist. She went public three years ago with an accusation that former Vice President Al Gore tried to sex her up in a Portland, Ore. hotel room. “Al Gore is a pervert and a sexual predator,” she charged. “He’s not what people think he is – he’s a sick man.” According to the report she filed with Portland police, Gore was in town to deliver a speech...

another man has stepped forward with a lawsuit featuring similar allegations. Citing Court Documents, RadarOnline reports that a male masseur has filed a $2 million sexual battery lawsuit against Travolta, using the same lawyer as the first accuser.

‘Battlefield Earth’ Screenwriter Is Sorry About That By Marc Schneider J.D. Shapiro wrote one of the most derided films of all time. Now, he's saying sorry. In early March, 2000's 'Battlefield Earth' was "awarded" worst movie of the decade by the Razzies. Few are protesting it and even more, like the folks behind 'Freddy Got Fingered,' must have let out a sigh of relief at the news. But Shapiro knows what he did was awful. Truly awful, and in an open letter published by the NY Post, he hilariously tries to explain himself. "It wasn't as I intended -- promise....

If John Travolta, an avid user of his private jet and a reported Republican, were to be stopped by law from purchasing an armed fighter plane, would the film actor suddenly be surrounded by the same people who sanctimoniously claim that the Constitution protects the private citizen's right to buy and own an assault rifle? That seems an absurd question, but we often find ourselves in absurd circumstances when we get to the gun issue. A hard fact leers before us: on the subject of guns, constitutional meaning and misinterpretation have been mixed together for so long that far too...

Senior Assistant Commissioner of Police Marvin Dames confirmed to the Nassau Guardian that the criminal complaint alleges the conspirators approached Travolta with the document, thinking he would find it damaging. Dames did not specify that Travolta originally wanted Jett treated in Florida, but RadarOnline.com has confirmed that with a source close to the case.

We now know what the document is all about in the John Travolta extortion case. Sources connected with the investigation tell us the document is an authorization for transporting Jett Travolta in the ambulance. We're told John Travolta and Kelly Preston had an issue over where Jett Travolta should be taken for emergency treatment. We do not have further specifics, nor do we know why the alleged extortionists thought it was worth $25 million to keep private.
-
Dames said police have a copy of a document they have not been able to prove the authenticity of. The document, he said, is a refusal to transport document. This, Dames explained, is signed by a party when refusing, for example, emergency medical services from trained personnel. Signing the document absolves the hospital of liability regarding an incident, he explained. "In this context, a document like that does not apply because as we know young Jett was not... he did not have any minor injuries. He was very ill. And so the document does not come into play," Dames said....

Longtime Scientologist Nancy Cartwright, also known as the voice of Bart Simpson, last year gave the church $10 million to help spread the word of founder L. Ron Hubbard into other galaxies. It was all part of Scientology’s Global Salvage effort, which aims to “de-aberrate” Earth, meaning to rid mankind of psychology ills and other “aberrant” behavior. Surprisingly, Nancy, 50, forked over twice as much as the Scientology’s most prominent member, Tom Cruise, who only gave $5 million in an installment plan. Also, recent Scientology publications reveal that a host of A-list Scientologists were honored for their generosity at a black-tie...
