For years, the CIA has categorically denied the existence of secret prisons—or black sites—on U.S. soil. However, a now-deleted list of government-owned properties suggests that the agency may have indeed owned a facility used for secretive operations. The list included government properties that the General Services Administration, at the direction of the Trump administration’s DOGE, planned to sell. Among the properties on the list was a highly sensitive complex in Northern Virginia long tied to CIA operations. The GSA published the list on Thursday but quickly took it down the next day, according to Wired and Bloomberg. “Obviously, someone did...

Judge Anthony J. Trenga, an appointee of George W. Bush, has temporarily blocked President Trump’s move to clean house in the intelligence community—specifically targeting agents involved in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) initiatives that have compromised national security in favor of leftist ideology. This ruling comes after a group of anonymous intelligence officers, who had been temporarily reassigned to roles implementing controversial Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Accessibility (DEIA) programs, have filed a lawsuit against the U.S. Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI) and the CIA. The lawsuit, filed in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of...

The Senate on Thursday confirmed John Ratcliffe as CIA director, giving President Donald Trump the second member of his new Cabinet. Ratcliffe was director of national intelligence during Trump’s first term and is the first person to have held that position and the top post at the CIA, the nation’s premier spy agency. The Texas Republican is a former federal prosecutor who emerged as a fierce Trump defender while serving as a congressman during Trump’s first impeachment. The vote was 74-25. She was Trump’s pick for attorney general hours after his first choice, former Florida Rep. Matt Gaetz, withdrew from consideration. Bondi is a longtime fixture in Trump’s orbit. The attorney general will be one of the most closely watched Cabinet members, given the concern among Democrats that Trump will look...

Former National Security Advisor and retired Army Lt. Gen. H.R. McMaster became the latest official to make eyebrow-raising comments about UFOs, now formally rebranded as “unidentified anomalous phenomena” or UAP. Asked about UAP during a Sept. 6 appearance on “Real Time with Bill Maher,” McMaster stated that “there are phenomena that have been witnessed by multiple people that are just inexplicable by any kind of science available to us.” ... Over a decade after they were first formally reported, naval aviators’ daily observations of UAP exhibiting amazing flight characteristics off the East Coast remain officially unexplained. John Ratcliffe, director of...

Judge Aileen Cannon knew the Justice Department’s recent history of bad behavior related to all things Donald Trump would repeat itself. How right she was. Judge Aileen Cannon was right. In her controversial order authorizing the appointment of a neutral third-party to review the classification status of documents seized during the FBI’s pillage of Mar-A-Lago last summer, Cannon cited as a main concern the Justice Department’s chronic habit of leaking to the news media. Leaks hinting at what FBI investigators allegedly found, including perhaps nuclear secrets, were reported by reliable media apparatchiks just a few days after the FBI’s unprecedented...

Former President Donald Trump is assembling his policy team with familiar faces from his first term and signaling they would have roles in his potential 2025 Republican presidential administration. Trump and his allies have been meeting and talking by phone for months, sculpting the policies that will define his second term should he win the presidency in 2024. The names of the inner circle were revealed Friday in the latest effort by the Trump campaign to counter outside conservative organizations' efforts to vet and staff a future 2025 administration. Among these aides are former trade representative Robert Lighthizer, former White...

[T]he Pentagon, and Washington in general, is really keen on talking about UFOs. Here’s a list of senior DC people who’ve been making strange remarks about UFOs/UAPs (in the sense, at the very least, that something inexplicable is haunting our planet). John Brennan, head of the CIA under Obama, in 2021: “Some of the phenomena we’re going to be seeing continues to be unexplained and might, in fact… something that we don’t yet understand, and could involve some type of activity that some might say constitute a different form of life.” John Ratcliffe, Donald Trump’s director of national intelligence, also...

Former Director of National Intelligence John Ratcliffe refuted accounts from Pentagon officials that Chinese balloons entered U.S. airspace on at least three occasions under the Trump administration. Ratcliffe, who served as former President Donald Trump's spy chief from 2020 to 2021, joined a few other former Trump administration officials claiming to have no awareness of such an incursion and described the recent balloon incident as "unprecedented." "I can refute it. It didn't happen," Ratcliffe said... Former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo and Secretary of Defense Mark Esper both denied knowing about a similar instance of a Chinese balloon hovering through...

The Milley boys at the Pentagon have come up with a new public relations "save" for Joe Biden and his pathetic indecisiveness about a China spy balloon brazenly traversing the continental United States until it was shot down over the Atlantic yesterday. According to the Pentagon's website, defense.gov: [cut] You know the press is going to be dining out on this for the next ten news cycles. There's just one problem, though -- the claim that Trump saw three Chinese balloons traverse through the U.S. on his watch and did nothing is ... deflating fast. First, we have an explicit...

I discussed the Igor Danchenko indictment here, laying out some of the more eye-raising parts of the facts and charges against Christopher Steele’s primary sub-source. Taking a closer look at the Danchenko indictment, there is a curious question presented by the FBI to Danchenko in June 2017. A question that indicates the FBI might have known more about the true sources to the Steele Dossiers sooner than they have let on. FBI Questions about Danchenko source Charles Dolan On June 15, 0217, the FBI interviewed Danchenko regarding the Dossiers (labeled “Company Reports” in the indictment). Here’s the line of questioning...
