Western media are reporting that CIA Director John Ratcliffe traveled to Moscow, Russia, to warn his Russian counterpart Sergey Naryshkin, head of Russia’s Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR), about striking back against Baltic states. {CITATION} However, that’s only half of the story.
Director Ratcliffe wasn’t simply telling Naryshkin not to hit back; he was telling Naryshkin that European NATO provocations against the Russian enclave of Kaliningrad (between Poland and Lithuania) were not ‘fully’ sanctioned by the United States. {CITATION Aug 18}
EU NATO members have been conducting provocative military operations and psychological warfare via NATO exercises all around Kaliningrad. They have been getting more aggressive with each series of maneuvers. The Trump administration (DoW) recently removed the head of U.S-NATO operations over this background strategy. What the western media will not tell us is that Lt. Gen. Charles Costanza, commander of the Army’s V Corps, was removed from command over this planned operation {citation Aug 7}.

So, who or what is essentially Ukraine Intelligence?
That’s likely British intelligence (MI6), who have been conducting these covert operations using Ukrainian figures. The same British intelligence that has now sanctioned Storm Shadow missiles for Ukraine to build {CITATION}. Again, more provocation and more urgent need for U.S. officials to try and avoid expanded conflict. Who is the MI6 partner agency, that’s the CIA; that’s where Director John Ratcliffe comes in.

Semi-related: Within the Ukraine friction points CTH has previously noted we should pay close attention to both Moldova and Romania. We should now add Finland to that list. I am told that Finland is currently on alert for covert Ukraine “intelligence” operations using Finland as a launch region for increased drone attacks toward the St Petersburg region.

I would bet King Charles' address to Congress was a gambit, leveraging Trump's nostalgia for the Royal family. When I watched that speech, I thought Charles was careful not to be too blatant.
Oh, and before the George Costanza jokes start, I heard the new gig for the displaced commander will be working for the Steinbrenners....
The EU heads seem so eager to expand the Ukrainian War and have the US fight it for them.
A very apt comment. From a previous lobbying attempt. Change only a face or two, and it will be rinse-and-repeat.
It could be a legitimate message to Moscow, but if I was the Russians, the first thing I would suspect is that we are just playing good-cop to NATO’s bad-cop. If true, it could backfire. Instead of de-escalating or reducing fears about provocation, you could be emboldening Moscow to make commensurate moves or retaliations in Europe.
What it seems like to me too.
When Russia collapses, Kaliningrad could be the first to vote to secede and become part of the EU.
Ratcliffe probably told the Russians - YES, PLEASE go ahead and attack the UK and Brussels.
We’re sick of their bullish** too
These globalists ghouls controlled Obama, and tried to take out Trump several times already, through their 5th columnists in DC. Remember Steele worked for MI6, Vindman was Ukrainian and Jack Smith lived in Amsterdam at the ICC.
I have said repeatedly over the last couple of years that the West should help Poland or Lithuania buy Kaliningrad.
This is madness. Any full scale conventional war between NATO and Russia will end in a nuclear exchange. The losing side (probably Russia) will go nuclear be it NATO or Russia as they have nothing left to lose.
As mentioned, this is madness.
Russia has done all three against every NATO member around Kaliningrad.
BTW, the US has flown B52s from Lakenheath in GB right up the Baltic to turn around a 100Km from St. Petersburg. So even the purported split between the US and Europe is BS.
Now that Sweden and Finland are in NATO and the Baltic sea is locked up and with Poland becoming a powerhouse as the Baltics muscle up some, and are reinforced, Putin’s invasion may result in the eventual loss of Kaliningrad in a distant future.
Any such conflict would be initiated by Russia, and I can't think any Russian general will risk incinerating Russia to save Putin from his own folly.
Promethean Action @PrometheanActn
They will blow up the world to save their system.
Russia just named Britain a combatant. Carney’s building a permanent-warfare bank. Freeland admits the plan: psychological operations against Americans before the midterms.

I think the precedent of buying it is a good idea for the future in an increasingly dangerous world.
Rather than guaranteeing the rules-based world order, the US is turning predator. So what Canada needs to do is work closely with our democratic allies, our military allies. I've been Foreign Minister. I know how to do that. I would start with our Nordic partners, specifically Denmark, which is also being threatened, and our NATO European allies. I would be sure that France and Britain were there who possess nuclear weapons and I will be working urgently with these partners to build a closer security relationship that guarantees our security in a time when United States can be a threat. I would also reach out to our Asian democratic partners, Japan, South Korea, Australia
Those aren't the words of an ally. I'm guessing that didn't sit well with rational Canadians. And guess what her new gig is now?
I always suspected that “Conservative Treehouse” was a foreign influence op, this pretty much confirms it. I thought it was Chinese but it smells Russian today.
NATO is absolutely entitled to hold exercises around Kaliningrad. If the Russians don’t like it, too bad.
I agree, and some future Russian government might go with it, or Kaliningrad itself might cause its separation from Russia in time.
There is also the securing of Moldova and Transnistria from constant threat and exploitation that needs to take place.
Interesting.
