I give some parting thoughts on my experience at and impressions of the Heart for Muslims Conference. I also explain why I believe James White's approach to evangelizing Islam is wrong. Both from a utilitarian perspective-and detrimental to the goal of winning souls-and why it is dangerous for the Church itself.

Did the program live from my hotel room in Pryor, Oklahoma via Skype…and it worked this time! Yay! Talked about Laren Daigle, Ed Shaw, and the covered Hebrews 2:9 in light of the comments posted by Steven Anderson on the subject of the atonement. Enjoy!

Started off with a rebuttal of the misrepresentation published by Dr. Eric Mason in his new book (endorsed by many Reformed leaders) regarding yours truly and the May 11th meme I posted that insists that there is no room for “black spaces” or “white spaces” at the Lord’s Table, but only room for a singular focus upon Christ. This led to Mason calling for an “ecumenical council” to deal with “heretics” like…me.

Recently, Dr. James White of Alpha & Omega Ministries publicly condemned the YouTube series "Islamicize Me," starring David Wood, Jon McCray, Vocab Malone, and many others. While David, Jon, and Vocab don't usually like to get into inter-Christian disputes, the large volume of complaints by Dr. White's fans have convinced the Apologetics Avengers to reply.

Sam Gipp has recorded a very nicely done video that is simply filled with errors--errors historical, errors logical, errors factual, errors biblical. Let's begin the process of setting the record straight.

I have written numerous articles about how Jasper, TX Police Chief Rodney Pearson is not a good guy. I just wrote an article today about how this Jasper, TX Police Chief was finally fired. I am sure it will not be long before all the liberal media and civil rights groups come out of the woodworks to cry racism. They will pull the race card and say that Rodney Pearson was fired because he was black. They will ignore the facts that show that Rodney Pearson was fired because he was just not a good police chief who should not...

This is HUGE for James White! Last week I posted up that Governor Rick Perry would be endorsing State Representative James White. Texas Comptroller Susan Combs has already officially endorsed White. Texas Attorney General has now also endorsed James White. Greg Abbott is probably the most popular and most loved Conservative Republican in all of Texas. It is now official! As of this morning, the Vote James White campaign released an official statement announcing these endorsements and also announcing that Governor Perry and AG Abbott will be visiting Southeast Texas. James White's new district is Texas House District 19...

The Governor of Texas, along with other high ranking Republican officials, will be stopping by Southeast Texas soon. They will be coming here to endorse State Representative James White in his re-election big to the Texas House of Representatives against Mike Hamilton in the HD 19 Primary Race which includes Hardin County, Polk County, Tyler County, Jasper County and Newton County. Texas Comptroller Susan Combs has already endorsed James White. James White is one of the few minority (black) elected officials in the Texas Legislature. That is not why he is getting so much support though. James White is...

A Biblical Basis for the "Immaculate Conception"? A Review and Rebuttal of Patrick Madrid's Article "Ark of the New Covenant" in "This Rock" magazine, December 1991. by James White Catholic Answers has some interesting ways of grabbing your attention. By placing the beginning paragraph or two of the lead article of their monthly magazine, This Rock, on the very cover of the work, they draw your attention into reading the rest of the article. True to form, the December, 1991 edition sported Pat Madrid's article, "Ark of the New Covenant" with the interesting lead in, "His face stiffened, and his...

On Open Letter to Harold Camping of Family Radio Dear Mr. Camping: In July of 2009 you and I engaged in a debate on the Iron Sharpens Iron radio program concerning your teaching that the church age had ended and that Christ would return on May 21, 2011. I trust you recall our exchange. I am also aware that you have at least seen my book, Dangerous Airwaves: Harold Camping Refuted and Christ's Church Defended. I have been seeking to warn people about your teachings, sir, for about a decade. I know others have been warning the church about you...

"This Bereans passage has been commandeered by Fundamentalists for too long, and it is time Catholics reclaim it." —Former Baptist Steve Ray, This Rock, March, 1997, p. 24. Steve Ray is a nice guy. At least, we’ve had some civil discourse in the past via the Internet. He seems like an honest man who is convinced that the position he now embraces—Roman Catholicism—is the true and proper position to take. I start by acknowledging this, for I don’t want anyone to think that I bear him any malice. I say this because beyond my recognizing his personal civility, I find...

Free-Speech Advocate (Barry Lynn) Attempting to Stop Distribution of Video By Rusty Pugh and Bill Fancher April 24, 2002 (AgapePress) - An attorney with a religious liberties law firm says a man who claims to be a champion of free speech is now attempting to censor a videotape produced by an Arizona-based ministry. Barry Lynn, former ACLU counsel and current director for the left-wing group Americans for the Separation of Church and State, recently took part in a debate on whether homosexuality is compatible with Christianity. According to attorney Benjamin Bull with the Alliance Defense Fund, Lynn lost the debate...

A small Phoenix-based apologetics ministry has won its lawsuit against a liberal free speech advocate. Barry Lynn, who has claimed that the First Amendment protects the distribution of X-rated movies, agreed recently to stop censoring distribution of an Alpha and Omega Ministries' (AOM) videotape in which he debated the director of the ministry last May over the question, "Is Homosexuality Compatible With Authentic Christianity?" Lynn filed the suit in April, but AOM officials said he had agreed before the debate to the video's reproduction and distribution. However, the executive director of Americans United for Separation of Church and State tried...
